XC Pilot Retriever Bus

This APP helps retrieve drivers find groups of XC pilots scattered around the countryside by showing all the pilots and buses on a single map.

When used in conjunction with the Escape XC Pilot Retrieve APP, as well as knowing where pilots are, you also know what each pilot's situation is and what they are planning to do next.

Retrieve SMS messages from pilots appear in a list on the right, the most recent at the top.

Click on a message to centre the map on that pilot's marker. An information bubble will pop up showing their name & retrieve message to you.

A long-click gives the driver more options; such as calling the pilot back or sending them your bus location and distance away.

On startup, the APP only shows today's SMSs. To review a previous day's retrieve messages (such as for debriefing), click the config button and pick a different date in the past.

The distances from you (the red bus) to each pilot and other (yellow) buses are shown in km.

The message list, your position and distances to pilots and other buses are all updated automatically.

When a sequence of TRACKER or FlyMaster location messages are received, only the last is shown as a marker, with the previous track points producing a unique coloured track.

Multiple retrieve buses are supported. Each bus can automatically share its location, and who they have picked up, with a simple message sent to all the other buses. Likewise, other buses show up on your map. Click on another yellow bus marker to see whom they have picked up.
