West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited hereafter referred as (WBSEDCL) has published its very own mobile application for better consumer services through android mobiles, PDA, Tabs and other hand-held devices with proper data connectivity. Just sign up with your mobile number and enjoy the services. Once you register , you stay connected with us for a seamless service experience.

The major services those are going live are-
Bill View:

Both monthly and quarterly consumers can view their current bill information from this application .They can also view and download the bill in PDF format.

Payment: Payment through mobile has been integrated.

New Application:
Intending domestic,commercial and industrial consumers can apply through app and pay their generated quotation amount.

New Application Status:
Customers who are willing to have any new connection or load enhancement can see their status from this menu.

Register Complaint:
Existing customers can lodge complain as well as check complain status regarding various technical problems like No power,High Voltage,meter burnt,meter stopped etc. They can also lodge complain regarding the non-technical problems like High bill,Average bill etc.

History:
Consumers can see their electricity consumption history in graphical format. Also consumer can see last five registered complaint details.They can also check payment history other than cash desk.

My Profile:
Consumers can see their registered personal information like address, mobile number, email id, meter number, installation number, contract load, tariff code etc through this menu.

Settings:
Consumers can set their preferred language like Hindi,English or Bengali. They can also change their mobile numbers and delete wrongly entered consumer id from the tags consumer's list.

This server works very slow. Complain through app for "no power" lodged , takes at least 6 hours to rectify/restore power supply. Over and above the 2 mobile numbers of the"mobile van technical support" provided in this app are incorrect. First One is a private no. 2nd one says it doesn't exist. Please try to improve the app in next update.

No need to mobile no verification, other power utility company doesn't need verification. Those who pay through this app know English very well so they can read their name if consumer id goes wrong. I believe that this app can't help WBSEDCL to keep it's consumers stay away from queue for bill pay or consumer doesn't pay their bill through app if they have to pay RS. 4.00 plus 0.8% service charge. Let me say may be this is the only govt Enterprise who take service charge for their bill payment through net. Horrible!!!!

The app is good but right now I am staying in abroad and wanted to pay my Kolkata residence electric bill through this app and their website. None of the app or site ials working. It is really difficult to pay the monthy electric bill. It would be helpful if someone can suggest any alternate way to operate this app. Thanks

This app doesn't even deserve 1 star. Everytime I pay bill through net banking option, it always throws a session time out error. Billing option is a place where the organization need to be very careful​. Because other facilities one can compermise but billing can't. Without this caution this is worthless,useless

Today I downloaded n paid three months bill using debit card. There is no bank such as United Bank Of India for using Debit Card with ATM PIN use. Bill desk is charging 0.8%. It may be waved. However the app is excellent to use

It would be the best if viewing of bill didn't ask the missing digit of meter numbers. To view bill, meter number is necessary​- it's so ridiculous. I expect this won't be needed in due course.

I am unable to change the email id from this app. Didn't get any rebate for online payment, also noticed that the due date is not showing in the app except the due month. If this faults rectifies, then getting 5star won't be a tough decision to give & to guide.

Unable to pay on line after trying for not less than 30 times . bogus app as far as come across for on line payment . even complaint page is not opening. When called on toll free line ,answer was to go to cash counter for pay . even e mail sent in this regard is also not answered.

I tried paying my electricity bill and my money got deducted from bank a/c but did no reach WBSEDCL. No body is taking the responsibility. There is no tech support from this app to lodge complaint for payment failure as detailed in its disclaimer. Please dont take the risk of paying through this app. Alternatives are Mpesa, paytm and ors...much reliable.Atleast they have a complaint section.

The app is very useful but sometimes takes a lot of time to load. The check boxes do not get clicked at one go. you have to find the right place to click. overall very useful.Best thing is we can manage more than one consumer.

Everthing is good but the app is to slow..Every page opens very lately and sometimes its shows error in connection in payment page same problem faced in WBSEDCL official web page too. Make this app more smooth like CESC.

I Pay My Bill online It Charge Extra rs.2 For Bill Pay But Electric Office Said Also Have Information In Bill That Extra One % Ribet On Online Bill Pay. It Has Not Give Extra One % Ribet Also Charged Extra 2 Rupees For Bill Payment It's Very Bad

It's old UI... Update this App... Info is nice but custom amount payment(if discount for advance pay), Card detail save, auto Opt read... Totaly back dated app... Good is information abt customer , consume electric... Fast interface...

The app always show unsuccessful transaction with a bunch of response from the server even after the payment is successful, money had been deducted and I've got SMS saying it's been successful. Pathetic!

Very useful app. It meets most of our requirements. But one problem is there, whenever I am trying to enhance the load it says "Invalid First Name".

My One Problem Solved within 24 hours Good Service. .. But Outher Complain can't Lodge... My another Meter disconnect application Recived in Office. But Still send me Bill...what's This...I contact local substation but they told me there are no Worker for cut meter connection. You told me 1% rebate and on the other hand you take extra service charge. So its better not to use it. PayTM is most popular in these days but no option to use PayTM in this application.

Extremely poor app developed by WB engineer's. It is so slow that you have no option but to stand in queue to pay Bill's. Tried so many times but never been able to pay through this app my bill.

After installation tried several times to log in but showing failure in authentication everytime. If this is the quality at the very begining i doubt how it will be after log in. Very bad n poor experience
