Diode for Reddit for Android
Overall a pretty good app with most of the features you would expect. However, imgur support is poor. Images will often not load or will load and then disappear.
Has a bug where if I go back to the subreddit in the middle of a thread loading, no threads are readable until the app is restarted. Another bug is where, if you try to apply filters and at the same time change the default loading subreddit, the app force closes till the data is cleared. Hope these get cleared
Dosen't saves stuffs even what we get the saved dialogue
Head and shoulders above the rest reddit apps
Crash on split screen
ugly
... and keep coming back to Diode. But now I can't see messages or context... Just a white screen when I try to go to message context... Just get a white screen. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to read/navigate.
The best reddit app I have used. My only complaint is it doesn't support tables which makes some posts quite messy.
It does what it says it would do. Brilliantly fast and no nonsense approach. It's for people who value content over pretty looks. Highly recommended
This is one of the few apps that actually adheres to the KISS principle (i.e., "Keep It Simple, Stupid!") and for that alone it deserves serious praise. If you can appreciate lightweight, crap-free design, you'll probably love this. Too bad it crashes sometimes when loading posts with a series of images...
Best alternative for reddit is fun small lightweight no ads no bugs and does what it says
Nougat on the Nexus 5x causes the comment press and hold menu to pop up in the corner of the screen.
Good but cant view profiles directly :^(
In Diode, lists of posts take an unusually long time to load. Comments with code or superscript aren't formatted right. It's easy to lose your scroll position or your draft comment reply text. There is no way to read a sub-Reddit's description. And hiding a comment thread takes too many taps. At least it doesn't crash and has nice big touch targets. But the apps Relay and Slide both avoid all of Diode's downsides, and add extra features like comment previews and jumping between a post's top-level comments.
instead it gives a 404 Not Found error
Does not work at all on my new Galaxy Rugby LTE
Lists of posts take an unusually long time to load, and comments with code or superscript aren't formatted right. But the app is very stable and full-featured, and it has nice big touch targets. I also appreciate the refresh button so I can confirm that my upvotes were registered.
Slow reaction on link click. No "share" option. And this is a best reader.. That's how crappy things are on a reddit side..
Lightweight, clean design, no ads, free and open source.
No gimmicks or bloat. Night mode. Comment editing and deletion. 10/10
Yeah you could say "I wish it would this" or "It'd be nice if it did that" but then it gets less simple and less reliable. This simply works and I love it.
Great simple app. I love the dark color options.

App works well and has added new features over the last few years. Would recommend.
Really the best, except for one caveat - there is no in app photo viewer, so loading pictures, especially non-direct imgur links, can take a while to load.
Worked perfectly until the 1.2.0 update
Slow reaction on link click
No /all filter and loading seems a bit sluggish.
I have no settings button. so I need a gui button...
Click on a picture link and a freaking ad page pops up before you can view the image. (Imurger)
I used to love Diode, but with the last update it completely doesn't work on my moto g (xt1028?). I've been using other bloated reddit browsers, and I miss diode.
I like it over all, but I noticed two issues: it can be slow loading links, and it doesn't support organized tables. Fix those for a 5 star!
A reddit reader plain and simple. No adds or crappy themes to bloat it down. Does the job day in, day out. What mote could you want?
instead it gives a 404 Not Found error
Simple
I have no settings button. so I need a gui button...
I've tried about 8, and like this one the best. Used it daily for several months now.
Just missing some features like a proper search function and the ability to see everything on the profiles (submitted, liked, saved, etc.)
Brings Reddit to me with out drop down live update crap slowing me down.

Minimalist browser that does exactly what is expected of it with no permissions footprint or performance issues. Been a fan since 2012 and it's hardly changed -- but always improved!
