Cynosure is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University's annual technical symposium started in the year 2009.Being the only technical university, Dr.B.A.T.U is an autonomous and one of its kind in Maharashtra.

The University is located at Lonere, the place in the ranges of Western Ghat, in Raigad district. This university is located in the region that was ruled by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is autonomous in nature and unitary in its character. It was established in the year 1989 by the Government of Maharashtra.
