Pretty cheap to get rid of ads and the all actually contains some great recaps and example code. While I don't think it's sufficient to teach from scratch (sololearn is better for that) that's not the point. As a reference it's perfect

a nice concise document on java. i've learned and done more with two hours and this "book" than all the others i've seen, which bore with repetition and useless verbiage. there is some duplication of content, possibly skipped details (i haven't finished it yet) and it doesn't remember where you were reading, for wich i thought to deduct a star. but its superior to everything else i've seen. you will need OOP experience to use this.

This had come in handy on numerous occasions, and continues to be worth its weight in gold.

One app including many languages.

I'm not a developer, so I can't say if it does all a serious coder needs, but I'm learning good things about Java and Android programming with it.

That should be praise enough. The only con is that it only displays in landscape. I program on my tablet, so I have to spin it to look something up. Sounds benign, but it really is disruptive as it makes me loose concentration.

Would like to see a more complete coverage of C++. Otherwise good interface and all in all probably serves as a decent intro to the basics of the language.

Pls. update the C/C++ ref to include changes in C11 and the Assembly Language ref to intel 32-bit/64-bit processor instruction set. Overall, still very good.

This is a good collection of basics in several languages. I can look up the things i have forgotten in one place, without a cell connection.

Great for courses concerning Java or C++, or anything else

Info is well laid out, code is well commented. Seems to be very comprehensive.

It really good to find app include different codes of different programing language. I found my self forget some of basic programing operation because of not dealing with codes for long time - I use this app as reference to remained me .. The C++ reference is still need to add on it .. Relation between pointers and classes did not mention in details..
