Respected ISA Members, dear students & trainees of Anaesthesiology, and friends!
Greetings from the organizing committee of ISACON 2017 Kolkata!
Finally, the mega annual event in the Anaesthesiology calendar for all of us is round the corner. On behalf of the organizing committee, we invite you all for the 65th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, ISACON 2017 scheduled on November 25 – 29, 2017 at “Biswa Bangla Convention Center”, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal. Like most of you, we were also waiting eagerly for completion of construction of this state of the art facility in the city, which finally came true when it was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal only some 20 days ago.

ISACON 2017 will give you an opportunity to enrich yourself by learning, sharing experiences and meeting stalwarts of our specialties of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine & Palliative care. Eminent national & international faculty from all across the world have accepted our invitation and will take part in the congress in a very meaningful fashion. The conference spanning over 5 days will feature 13 workshops of varied interests, 78 CME lectures, scientific sessions simultaneously in 9 halls & Industry exhibits to showcase latest developments in these fields.

Labeled as the 'City of Joy', and the 'Cultural capital of India', Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta) is a city with character. Kolkata is famous for its people, their culture, food, and love for music & literature. It is also famous for its colonial edifices and modern amusement houses. Our team has been trying hard to arrange Pre & Post conference customized tours as per the interest of our delegates and faculty. You may utilize this opportunity to plan an additional vacation to the adjoining places of interest like hills of Darjeeling, mangrove forests of Sunderbans, sea beaches of Digha & Mandarmoni along Bay of Bengal and reserve forests in North Bengal.
