eCourts Services
• eCourts Services App is useful to Citizen, Litigants, Lawyers, Police, Government Agencies and other Institutional Litigants.
• In the App services are given under different caption viz. Search by CNR, Case Status, Cause List and My Cases.
• CNR is unique number assigned to each case filed in District and Taluka Courts in the Country, through Case Information System. Simply by entering the CNR one can get the current status and details of the case.
• Case Status can be searched by various options like Case Number, Party Name, Filing Number, FIR Number, Advocate Name, Relevant Act of the Case and Case Type.
• All above options are shown in the App with identifiable separate icons under the Case Status tab
• Initial search result of case status is displayed with Case Number and names of parties. This helps litigants and lawyers to confirm the identity of the case before they enter into details of the Case.
• Once link of case number is clicked current case status and entire history of the case is displayed with expandable view captions.
o Case Details caption shows information of Case Type, Filing Number, Filing Date, Registration Number, Registration Date and CNR Number.
o Case Status Option shows information of First Hearing Date, Next Hearing Date, State of Case, Court Number and Designation of Judge.
o Expandable view captions viz. Petitioner and Advocate, Respondent and Advocate, Acts, History of Case Hearing, Judgment and Order, Transfer Details can be viewed when user clicks any of these expandable captions.
o The “History of Case Hearing” caption shows entire history of the case from first date of hearing to current date of hearing. When we click date of hearing shown in the form of link, it will show business recorded on clicked date.
o Judgment and Order caption shows links of all judgments and orders passed and uploaded in the selected case. Link of the Judgment and order can be clicked to view the same.
o “Add Case” button can be seen while viewing the case history, on the top right corner “. Any case can be saved with the help of Add Case button. Once a case is added, the button changes its appearance and caption to Saved Case.
• In the option named Advocate under Case Status, information can be searched by name of Advocate or his bar Code. Once Bar Code of any advocate registered with system is entered, it generates list of all cases wherein his name is tagged with the case.
• Date Case List is unique cause list option which generates cause list all cases of Advocate listed before all courts in the Complex.
• Once a case is added or saved, it is shown in My Cases. Saved Cases can be viewed in My Cases tab of the app.
• Litigant or Lawyer can save all cases of his interest, which will be shown under My Cases tab with name of establishment showing number of cases saved in that establishment. This helps them to create and manage Portfolio of their cases or Personal Case Diary for further use.
• Today’s Cases button shown under My Cases tab provides facility to view only today’s listed cases from all cases saved under My Cases. One can select another date to see the cases listed on selected date.
• When case details are accessed through My Cases, it gives option to “Remove Case” .
• Refresh button is given adjacent to Today’s Cases to update the information saved under My Cases.
• If any case is not updated or refreshed because of connection issue, App will show this information as “connection error”.
• Cause List option generates cause list of selected Court. By default current date is selected for generating cause list. However, one can change this date to any recent future date.
• Backup facility is provided to take backup of saved cases on mobile Device
o By using Export option backup can be taken in text file format on device
o By using Import option data can be restored in My cases tab.

Bangalore courts case status is not working. It is also not working on your website. I had also written a mail to the email address provided in the website and their is no reply even after 15 days. Neither you have rectified nor you have replied.Even your app doesn't work when we select Bangalore courts. If we are not able to see the case status, what is the purpose of this app and online services

No doubt very good app. But history of a case is not found properly . And one suggestion is that court orders should also be included in this app so that we can find the orders of court on that day

Very Good effort. Good Job. No need to maintain Diary. Will help in speedy disposal of cases. Need to improve by providing user id and password to use simmilarly on each mobile / ipad etc Please include High Courts or provide new app for High Courts.

Excellent app, Only thing is that the app should have similar GUI as that of website And some courts r still missing from the list Ex. Pune PMC Court, which is also a civil court under Pune District and sessions court

Sir, its a very good app and good effort. one small suggestion that is Why not provide an user id and password option or synchronization with Registered mobile Number ... For enabling automatic synchronization of my cases.... User id must be a registered mobile number of an advocate, which was already given to ecourt and OTP may be sent through registered mobile no. Is it possible sir.... Sir I am asking automatic synchronisation But you simply reply........... is it possible or not sir,......... please proper reply.

Good initiative. However, in most of the cases of gujarat district courts "Error" is coming. Need to rectify at the earliest so as to make this app useful. In 80% of the cases, I have faced this problem. Hope developer will look into it and provide the bug fix ASAP.

Today's case option is not displaying in my app. Downloaded latest version. My edited version The problem was size of font. I reduced the size of font from huge to large and now the button is visible.

I am lawyer and i really respect the efforts that even our bench and their support functions are putting to make the transparency with convience. Nice app and great valuable information on one touch for smartphone users. But it have some improvements like 1)separate option for search by village for ratio of cases or cross checking of cases 2) search by name, case number and other mode in my lot of saved cases which is very difficult search for today 3) whether it is possible for user id and password for protect of our my cases saved data and in addition of sms alert to parties and email or sync option mostly required in this app. 4) whether it is possible for offline working in non network area....Just like suggestions... Best app. Excellent job. Need one improvement for speedy working. Like Maharashtra web try to add Court establishment option in court complex option. It will help to jump on particular court. One query _ what is the meaning of colour code appearing in my cases?

It's good app but when we try to open case after find in court it shows "error" don't describe anything else. Same case can open in laptop or PC. So i think there is some problem which shuld be fix.

Very useful for advocates and parties. However, I am unable to retrieve Family court case details. Can u please guide me how to get the details pertaining to family courts. Note: I have verified help but couldn't find the required info.
