Guitar Guru comes with a "Guess the Chord" game which is a fun way to train your ears to identify the right Chord sounds.
The Guitar Guru app also provides all the details you would need to know about different Chords. Currently there are 25 Chords categorized into the Majors, Minors, Dominant Sevenths, Suspended, Power Chords and Slash Chords etc. All 25 Chords have accurate diagrams for your reference.

This is a great start, especially for someone just picking up a guitar. The thing I would love to see is more power chords both E and A based all the way up the neck to at least the 12th fret. Also if the frets could be spaced according to thier location, as a real guitar is. Seeing them equally spaced is a little bit less intuitive. Very exciting app! And I would love those power chords!!! No one has found a nice way to show those yet.

This is a good app but needs a few more varieties on bare chords and power chords. Other than that its near perfect for beginners.

I HAVE BEEN PRACTISING MORE SINCE I DOWNLOADED THIS APP 2nd review - now have been using this app for around a week and it is very helpful for beginners like me as it caters to the issues a beginner faces while practicing his/her lessons!!!
