Doit.im | GTD for Android
Apply the five stages of GTD® to make your work and life organized: Collect, Process, Organize, Review, Pick tasks and Do. Far more than just a to-do list, it’s a life manager.
2. Support for Multi-platforms
With the support on platforms of Web, iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and Mac, Doit.im helps you to manage your tasks anywhere, anytime, in any way you like. Anything, out of your mind, in your Doit.im.
3. Cloud Sync
No need at all worrying about the safety of your data, they are in the cloud. And, as you like, they can auto-sync to any of the platform you use. Just that simple.
This app has everything I need but uses 40mb or more of RAM to run. It has cut my battery life in half. I love it. I'll keep it, but I hope it gets more efficient.
Awesome app for users of the GTD system. Haven't come across any issues yet!
It's a really solid to do list but just not quite flexible enough for daily GTD principles.
Tried to register with Google or sign up but shows error every time
They don't mention it's a 30 day trial account. And after that they charge 20$ peer year!!
Love these contexts and simplicity. Would like more androidish interface. Great and responsive developers.
The User Forum had requests over two years ago, to allow backups or exports of our very valuable data. They refuse to do anything about it. Once they have your data (which gets bigger and more valuable every day) they know they've got you under their thumb so you can't leave. The more you use this app the more scared you get that you will loose all your data and the time it took to create it. Also, without syncing capabilities this data is in a bubble. It can't be used by any other productivity software.
Coming from having a blackberry and REXwireless to-do-matrix application, I did much research and came to the conclusion this is the best app offered on android platform for true GTD'ers.
"Bad request, try again later" when I attempt to login using my account details. And works fine using my gmail account.
It would be great to have batch add in inbox just like in desktop. Also, in Android the design looks old, perhaps because it doesn't follow material design rules. Great app though!
This pulls off GTD fairly well and I use it. However, it has lost data for me twice now (once on mobile, once on web) and they refuse to implement export or backup features, insisting that your data is safe with them, so beware. The interface works pretty well, with a few unintuitive and inconsistent design choices and it looks like it is designed for iOS rather than native Android.
Great app but no landscape mode is a deal breaker on my tablet.
This app does deploy the philosophy of GTD and looks beautiful as well but to get one thing, you need to do multiple clicks. This keeps me away from using it.
After android 4.3 update on nexus 4 it become very sluggish (( and icon is not going away from notification bar. Before update has worked just fine. Update: now it works fine again.
Since Astrid shut down I tried multiple apps. Doitim was the best and I like it even better than astrid.
I was so impressed when I got the free version of this app I thought a subscription could only improve the service. How wrong was I? I've been subscribed since Aug 2013 and I've yet to get this to sync regularly/properly with my laptop. This is supposed to help the GTD process but it only hinders progress. Very disappointing. I don't even want to use the free app anymore!
Could be a little cheaper, though.
Add hints for buttons. Its easy!
Please improve the widgets for the new version. I have to have the old version installed as well just to be able to have decent widgets and even those could be better. Here is what I'd like to see in widget types: - checkboxes - smaller font - resizeable - option to show due date
Reptedly asking for the password. Distract other applicatins. It is not acceptable. Regtet psying for it.
I'm using this app daily for over a year now. Great app
...if I wasn't always having to lay horizontal on my desk to use it. The app has no landscape mode, which makes it just about useless on a tablet. I love Doit for a lot of reasons, but this one has me fit to be tied.
Worth 20.00 a year without hesitation...
Why don't you post in the app description that this is a trial and you need a subscription to continue using it to avoid wasting people's time and risking bad reviews?
Requires you to create a login at their website. Does not allow you to use offline at all. Which creates huge privacy concerns. All your tasks are most likely stored unencrypted on their servers regardless if you need sync or not.
Best GTD app I have come across and I have tried them all. The new desktop app isn't great but the Chrome app is superb. Really can't do without this one.
Wonderful system, I gladly paid for subscription. But I'd like to more new features and developments and more communication with loayal users
All of it is really good so far but some basic tablet support would be much appreciated! The app as it is now is usable but could use some tablet optimization.
Can't manually reorder task.
This app works like a charm and syncs well. It's loaded with all the features you would want.
I love this app!!! The only thing I don't like is that the widget has that blue bar across it. The option to remove or change the color/transparency would be great!
I'm on Windows 7 and most of the time the desktop version won't even start. One of the main selling points of this app is its cross-platform support - but there's not much point paying the $20 a year it costs to activate that capability for me with this problem. I need to be able to add tasks on my PC even when not online. Also, the PC version doesn't allow you to see or enter details/notes into tasks, only the browser version does. Fix the PC version to make it more than a token gesture and I might go beyond the 1-month free trial.
Works like a charm across all my devices. Gladly paid for the subscription, something I rarely do. Organised my life. Only way this could get better is if the aesthetics were more modern, but it does not matter at all when you see how useful and simple this app is.
Can't access the app. It shows Google log in page. Moreover can't log in to Google. Problems. Please improve refinement and app usability. So I use more of it instead of using notes to do things. That should be the priority for the app.
Great app. Don't know why everyone doesn't use this. Everything you need. Compatible with everything. Edit: Spoke too soon. Still a good app for personal use but it's group functionality is limited. Cannot have a shared lists. App is also glitchy and won't sync after I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Meaning I can't access my to-do lists. Update: still can't get my list to sync. This would be a horrible problem if I had been using this for a while. Downgraded.
I have now been using the GTD system for 5 years, and this app for almost 1 year continuously. It is perfectly suited to the methods and principles of GTD task management. The cross-platform nature of the installation is executed perfectly. I'm always in sync between my android phone, my mac desktop, my chromebook, and my nexus tablet. It is easy to add and organize tasks, perform a review of each project or context, and having reminders for tasks that come to me directly, and not through cluttering my ca
I like this app a lot and would have given it 5 stars but it lacks two key features: 1. The keyboard needs to pop up when I tap a task to allow me to edit it. Today you have to tap the task to select it; then hit the edit button; then place the cursor on the field you want to edit before the keyboard appears 2. Repeating tasks don't show up in and views until the day before they are due. The next instance needs to appear in all views
Cloud sync and multi-platform access is only available if you pay a monthly subscription fee
This app just earned its 5th star, with dynamic sort being implemented for the next action list on the web interface. Now not only can you quickly add 'stuff' using the quick add ribbon on your cell, but also sort dynamically with a simple mouse drag for order of completion on the web. Add to this the Android gadget, and you have a list ever present to mind on your home screen. This is a new state of perfection for the app.

Used OmniFocus on iPhone and it was a real pain in the butt to find a replacement software for Android. This is it. Great task management application with an accompanying desktop software, both for Windows and Mac.
