About Never Forget My Phone
Never Forget My Phone monitors your Bluetooth car kit. Once you switch off your car, the Bluetooth car kit is turned off and therefore disconnects from your phone. This will trigger an alarm which will remind you to take your phone with you. Once you physically pick up your phone, the alarm will stop automatically for a seamless experience!
This application does not start any services in the background and therefore will not drain your battery.
Permissions -
* Bluetooth Connection - Used for detecting paired devices and the Bluetooth disconnection.
* Bluetooth Administration - Used for allowing the user to enable the Bluetooth adapter from the settings if it is disabled.
* Read phone state and identity - Used for preventing an alarm to be triggered while in a voice call.
* Prevent device from sleeping - Used for waking up the phone in case it is locked and idle.

Works very well. May be improved by running in the background and sensing the bluetooth connection, so the user doesnt have to run it every time applications are killed.

I need this same app but there should be a option to set password to stop the alarm. then it can be used as a thief alarm. if anyone steals my phone while connected with my bt headset the alarm will ring when he goes out of my bt range. generally its range is about 5 to 10m. then I can hear a loud alarm and catch the thief. plz add this option. I am waiting. gave u 5 stars. this app works well with my bt headset. thanks.

It alarms as it should when bluetooth disconnects. However, over 90% of the time, my phone doesn't register the disconnection until I'm 5 seconds or 10 feet from my car. In 3 months of using it, it has only alarmed less than 5 times WHILE I was still idling in the car. The worst part is that if I did leave the phone in the car and already over 10 ft from the car, the phone just sits there ringing the whole entire time until I return or it runs out of battery screaming "HEY, PHONE IN HERE, STEAL ME!"

My car is too slow with disconnecting bluetooth. Response is slow as a result. The planned update for time out is welcome update in my case.

This works most of the time to remind me to get my phone before leaving my vehicle after turning off the engine. Be nice tho if it had a temporary shut off button where some how it could be disabled easily when your needing to work on vehicles electrical system or stereo, etc. Sometimes it can be annoying going off when not needed. Minor issue tho to deal with. Still well worth having the app!

This is really helpful and simple - all you have to do is mark your bluetooth car kit and then whenever you forget your phone in your car it will let you know no services running in the background, no battery waste, just a lean mean piece of free and ad-free software. way to go! keep them coming!
