The Filthy 150 for Android
What if we are beginners/new to this type of event?
There will be 3 divisions. Advanced, Intermediate & Community. The 150 teams who have entered will then do 2 qualifier workouts to determine which division you belong in. I.e. the top teams will go to the advanced division, the middle teams to intermediate & so on.
Which days will we be competing?
All categories will compete over both days.
Is there a masters / junior division?
Yes. There are two masters sub divisions 35-49 (must have at least two 40+) , 50+ & a junior division (16-21) category. However these teams will qualify in the same way & compete in the division they qualify to. The highest placed teams at the final will win the Masters/Junior crown.
Do all team members have to train at the same gym?
Yes.
No ‘super teams’ are allowed. The ‘more than half’ rule will apply.
I want to enter a team but am not affiliated?
You may enter a team to represent any fitness club/group in the country. If you are using a facility name (ie. crossfit navan), you must however show consent from the facility owner to represent his or her gym/club/box.
What if I get injured/sick before or during the event and can’t compete?
You can nominate 2 subs per team (1 male & 1 female). Subs must purchase a weekend spectator pass €20 & register with the team on the day
Does my coach/trainer need a spectator ticket?
Yes.
Can my coach/trainer come into the athlete area and warm up area?
Yes but each athlete/coach must register & show their wristband to gain access. 1 coach max per team
Do I have to register before the event?
Yes each team will need to register all details in advance of the competition. On the morning of each day you will all need to sign the waiver to collect your wristbands. You will need to bring a form of I.D. with you i.e. passport, driver’s licence.
Will I know before the event when I am competing?
Yes you will be sent a timetable with running order prior to the event. This will also be available at registration. It is your responsibility to ensure you are ready for your heat. If you miss your heat you will receive a DNF for that workout.
Will there be an Athlete Briefing at the event?
NO.
The Athlete Briefing & movement standards will be announced closer to the event. All athletes must know the movement standards upon arrival. Each person on the team roster will receive a detailed email. We will also post full details on this website & on our social media platforms
Are there shops and restaurants nearby?
Yes the venue is located less than 10 mins drive from The Square Tallaght, which is one of Dublin’s largest shopping malls, with numerous shops and restaurants on hand.
What are the spectator fees?
€20 (& fees). Under 16′s go free. There will be 15 vendors on site, food, drinks & a bar licence.
Is there an after party?
Yes. We will have a live band at the venue on Sunday night, alcohol will be on sale throughout the weekend.
