About RevApp
RevApp is a free mobile app provided by Revenue, Ireland’s tax and customs authority, to help you manage your tax affairs on the go. It provides you with quick and easy access to Revenue’s online services – myAccount and ROS.
It also provides convenient access to Receipts Tracker. This is the easy way to record and manage receipts for your expenses. If you choose to save these images to Revenue storage and you are satisfied that they are clear, readable and complete, you do not need to keep the original receipt. The receipts data you have recorded using RevApp will also appear on your Form 11 or Form 12 if you have chosen to save to Revenue storage. This will help you when you are completing your income tax return and claiming tax relief on your health expenses.
You can also use RevApp to access MyEnquiries, Revenue’s online contact facility that allows you to securely send and receive correspondence to and from Revenue , and Calculators and Tools, which help you to calculate taxes such as Pay As You Earn, Local Property Tax and Vehicle Registration Tax.

I downloaded and then quickly deleted the app as there is no value in using this so called app. This is just a redirect to webpages.

It's as clunky as the pc app. Won't display PDFs. Navigation is poor. Regularly logs me out when I hit the back button. Auto advance on the login screen would be helpful. Doesn't deserve one star.

Absolutely disgraceful that Revenue no longer offer a phone service for PAYE customers. Happy enough to take your money from you but want to give nothing in return. God help those who aren't computer literate.

Documents online get blocked as they're registering as a pop up. On the app, there's no option to show the PDF as there's no facility for pop ups.

Absolute waste of tax payers money. Same goes for the new pc version. Whole structure is confusing and not user friendly at all. Nothing wrong with the old online system just pointless money being spent on devising a new system that is confusing and a complete joke of an IT system. The app itself doesn't let me see my previous years history because everything is in pdfs that cannot be opened. What a waste of time, money and resources.

The receipt tracker won't allow you to add/upload photo/files. So useless function. Same when go to submit query. It won't all you to choose a file to upload. Nine of the links worked. ☹ disappointing. Will be uninstalling unless fixed.

This app isn't as bad as everyone is saying it is. It's definitely in its early stages. For a normal user (just checking tax credit & submitting a form 12) it seem to work just find. A few of the links will bring you to the web site but guessing later will be add to the app.

Absolutely rubbish app. Most if it links to website. Constantly having to sign in if you switch between sections. Programming is rubbish as well as you can enter loads of digits on DOB section rather than someone taking 2 minutes to have it auto move you to the next section after you enter date or month for exapmle

It's essentially a bunch of windows and images which are just links to the desktop website. Hope they didn't pay alot of tax money to fund this shite... Some areas of the app also require Adobe flash which isn't supported by android

It's something, but needs a lot of improvements. It's just an app with links to access your account online. It should at least keep your data saved, which it doesn't. It works fine though. At least you can access your account on mobile devices.
