I have been using the web version for years and found it great. This app recently redesigned with a very slick interface is great for finding cheap diesel/petrol when you are out and about. Also I had a problem with a new phone and Edwin provided a new version within a few hours. What a service! Highly recommended. Also the more users the more useful the app. Try it!

Since updating this app I can get no details of filling stations near me. The screen is blank and the only thing I see is a message "getting location link". Unfortunately the app just hangs at this and nothing else happens. After getting s reply from Ed I reinstalled the app and got a message to update Google Play. After the update pumps.ie works fine. Many thanks for the quick response.

Use this all the time and find it very handy. Works even better with my s7 after the latest update. Would be nice to set the default view as my watch list and set it to distance near to far. I suppose the ads were inevitable to fund the app. Thanks Edwin!

Being actively developed once more, each release brings improvements, the devs are clearly listening to the users. For those who have complained about the accuracy of the prices, this is not a fault of the app or its developer, remember its only as good as its userbase, the more users the better. This app is a wonderful tool, it's up to us, the users to make it work!

I've been using this app on and off for years. I even used the website before there was an app. However it's getting to the stage now that the app is so useless that people are not submitted at the rate they once used to. There used to be a lot lot more ways of searching, filter and refining. In the past there was an option of selecting any major route in the country. The map doesn't show much of an area anymore either.

Just like many other apps, it was good at the beginning, but author improved it to the state of unusable. Besides, it's useless, because prices aren't that different, so the app won't save you anything.

I have a Samsung S7 and I can't login with Facebook. Otherwise deadly app

Useless. Tells me I'm logged in through Facebook but keeps asking me to use pumps.ie credentials. Refuses to let me in telling me credentials are wrong. No wonder people are not updating it and uninstalling it. No way of reseting or checking your details.

Simple brilliant community driven fuel price checker. You can easily save a free lunch or pint for simply going to a cheaper petrol station in the area. Could use odometer / MPG meter. Other than that great!

What a useless app. Does nothing but state nothing in my local area but the 4 stations within 2 miles of my home... Utter trashware!

Seems to be relying on people to update it. Very few updates. Uninstalled.

Best to use this 2 ways - use to find cheapest fuel prices and update these prices to help others.

Overall good app but but no option to reset password is a letdown. Most apps would have this feature or advise how to.

The new updated app was initially much slower than the old app but after the few updates the new app is much quicker so im upping from 3 stars to 4. It would be nice to have a map view of the petrol stations without having to go into a station.

This used to be a excellent app. Recent redesign ruined it! The map view in the old design was very useful for me. My work place is over 20 km away from home, and I used to be able to check fuel price near work easily using the map when I'm at home, now the option is gone. Also the coloring on the map overlay is a cool feature.

Great to see it being updated again. Only problem is that I have is that while I can see my old Watchlist; I can't add or remove locations from it.

Well this is handy, works really well, not sure how accurate the prices are yet, but handy to have all the same.. Also really nice to have a developer who replies to their feedback

I have the latest version of Pumps, and I have an account. However since the update before last, my Watchlist disappeared and I now no longer have the option to create a Watchlist. Very frustrating!!

I've an issue with locating the preferences page on my phone. Therefore I cannot set the app up as I would like it. I've emailed the developer but alas no reply. Has great potential but needs support. Update 22.10.16. App has been redesigned and is somewhat improved but there doesn't appear to be a facility to add stations to your watchlist. Getting better but not quite there yet

Does not let me switch to Diesel on my Galaxy S5 and way too few updates on the prices (which is not the fault of the app ofc). Other apps I used like gas buddy are so much better... Update: now I can switch to Diesel but the app is still useless as there's no way to sort by most recent updates and the sort by distance is totally out of whack too. I'm being shown prices from 2012 and there's no way to limit matches to, say, updates during the last 7 days or so. Uninstalled again...

Location is cached, so when I hit 'refresh', it still looks up my old location. This is a serious problem.

Stopped working after update. White screen and menu is all I can see. No petrol stations. Nothing

I like the updates but I can't search by county anymore or add anything to my watch list, I liked to search stations on my route but can only see ones within 10kms, please fix Thanks for the update, looking forward to them, cheers

Getting better

Getting better please keep updating the app. But I agree with another review saying it's harder to identify the petrol stations. I live in Kilkenny City and some of the petrol stations are not called what comes up on the app. If you could please have a look at that. Thank you and keep up the good work.

UPDATED 16OCT2016: BRILLIANT! You've got the changes done so quickly THANK YOU. One can identify the stations by brand now which makes much more sense and one can sort by distance or price. I also like the fact that you've put the color to the side. WELL DONE. + I like the up and down arrow for changing the prices but - harder to identify stations now where exactly is Lucan Service Station when it should be Texaco Lucan Bypass... - also hard to see on phone (previous font sizes worked better).

New UI is a big improvement. Would like to be able to sort by price again. (This has been added again - thanks!)

Great update - long overdue to a well used app. At last the updating of price is using the common dial feature requested ages ago. There is a bug in the price update screen - shows petrol price as xxx.9 regardless of value after decimal point.

As title says wishlist is blank after the update i have used this app for years and now this update broke it please fix. I have to do my user name and password ever time i open the app

DO NOT UPGRADE. Shortlist doesn't work, it shows nearby. Can no longer search by area. Can no longer sort by price. Color codes not understandable and not documented. I wish I could downgrade to the previous version.

This used to be a great app. Unfortunately the app builder has not updated the design of the app to keep up with newer versions of Android or newer handsets. Most newer Android hand sets no longer have a menu soft key as all apps now have the three dots in app menu......except for Pumps. Now there is no way to get In to personalise the app or set preferences or set up accounts.
