Missed Call Reminder for Android
Great app for my Moto 3 3rd Generation that has no notification LED. However, it would be an awesome app if it had the following two enhancements: 1) separate volume not tied to ringer or media. Ascending ring volume on Moto 3 makes sound useless for this app, since I keep my media volume muted by default. 2) Support for additional notifications (e.g Facebook, email)
This works great for reminding me of missed calls and texts. Its easy to set up and works like a charm. I also use WhatsApp to text and wish this app reminded me is missed WhatsApp texts too. Developer, could you add this feature? I'd gladly pay for it and others would too.
Used for years on my old Optimus S. I can confirm it works on Lucid 2, except for the LED notification which I don't care about anyway. I've never understood why Android doesn't have this functionality built in.
Before I had my phone's software reinstalled this app used to work. Now the led doesn't work when i have an unread message or missed call. But after i read the message the led flashes in the colour i've previously chosen. I used to love this app. It was very useful for me.
Maybe I just don't understand the app. I set ring interval at 5 minutes. I get a text and the app lets me know in 5 minutes... only one time. I thought it would let me know every 5 minutes. It's just as easy to miss the app alert as it is to miss the original message.
Only the sound portion works on my wifes new Galaxy Note 5. Cannot get the LED light to overide the phones blue light for notifications nor can we change the LED flash frequency. But it has been working just fine on my Galaxy S4, requires (clearing of all current) reminders once in awhile. No ads and minimal permissions. Would give it 3.5 for now. Make work on Galaxy Note 5 and i'll change it to a 5.
I love this app. It is very customizable and easy to use. The only thing I can think of that would make it prefect would be to have a reminder for unread visual voice mail. Lots of companies are now using visual voice mail, and if you miss the initial notification there is never a reminder. Just a suggestion for future development. Oh, and a way to select a unique reminder sound instead of the system default would be nice. Easier to tell a notification from a reminder
I've missed so many calls and texts due to the single reminder built into stock android. This simple program has completely fixed the problem. Works simply and flawlessly. Would happily pay money for it.
***The app keeps notifying even after Iopened call log or read the messages!!! When I go to "stop all current reminder" it shows no notification so I can't stop the reminder... It will keep on doing that until the reminder notification alert stops. This is quite annoying!!!!! ***The LED feature is worthless.
i just wanted to not miss notifications. but this will keep on beeping even after you 1) dismissed the notification 2) added sender to ignore list (which will not even beep on new sms, but this will because the sms will be unread)
Best app ever! Got an iphone? My condolences. Many of their apps failed when I paid for 4 call (only) & 2 SMS(only) notif reminder alert apps. D/L this app if you have a Droid.:
WILL NOT WORK ON MY GALAXY 5. HAVE USED THIS APP. WITH MY OTHER 2 PHONES, WITH NO PROBLEM. AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!
The only thing that could make this better is if we could note exceptions. I hate checking a new text and finding out it was just Twitter.
Love it and have used for years with no issues until recently. On my Note 4 since a recent upgrade to 5.1.1 it has stopped reminding me. It's OK if I go and and untick/tick the reminder boxes but as soon as I clear the running apps it stops reminding me (never had an issue with this before).
Does what it says. A feature that should be built-in, but isn't, missed call persistently reminds you of missed calls, and sms/mms messages. Configurable intervals (I wish there was a 2 minute choice) and timeouts.
Except voicemail. Missed a call or text? This is great. But if you have a voicemail, this will NOT remind you. Lots of times the phone is off, or some calls go straight to VM and this will not remind you.
Hi, so this is one of my apps to use!! However, recently I updated to jelly bean and this app does not seem to work anymore :( especially the LED reminder which was my FAVORITE setting of this app. I would really appreciate it if you could make this update especially since there isn't an easy way to downgrade back to ice cream sandwich...I have a galaxy nexus btw. Thank you in advance!!! :D
Currently on nexus 4 and I just need only missed call and SMS reminder. Your app work well and not annoy another notification setting like another app. That's five stars!

Settings options are simple and to the point. Very nice to set missed calls and missed texts to different led colors, chimes etc. Doesn't wake lock the pants off my phone like the last reminder app I had been using.
Sound doesnt work on Moto G w/ marshmallow. Vibrate works, but sound only plays when certain apps are open/active.
I've had this app for a couple of years and it's always been 5 stars but all of a sudden in plays tones that I didn't pick as reminder tones, please fix
It works perfectly on my Motorola RAZR Maxx HD. Installed this when the app. I had installed before quit working after an operating system upgrade.
I've tried different apps to do this task. This one is best. For next update could you add an option to light screen when a txt msg comes? And add an option to stop the alerts automatically at a precised time, like during the night ? It would be very great if you could do that. Thank you.
I have used this since using Galaxy S2 and worked fine, after upgrading to a S4 everything worked fine, always notified me if I missed a call or sms on both he S2 and S4, but I have upgraded to a Galaxy S5 now and I noticed that if I leave the screen on the SMS screen and then the screen turns off, I don't get any notifications or LED flashes if I miss an incoming SMS. Is this able to be fixed? Will change rating if you can fix this problem, otherwise I will need to search for a new missed call reminder app :(
Looked pretty good but after I downloaded it I noticed that there is no setting for shutting off notifications at night. If someone texts me after I've gone to sleep, I don't want to be woken by a text.
Dont always have my phone on me and with this app I Never miss a call. Thanks for your hard work!
It does not do any notification other than the flashing LED light, and that's only sometimes. No vibrating, beeping, screen light up. Nothing. And it also will flash when there is NO missed calls or messages....Is it not compatible with the LG G3?

I have it whitelisted on my task killer but it seems like it doesn't start up on my LG optimus l9 on reboot. But when it is opened it seems to work, could be nice if there was an extra option to when to stop vibrating individually cause that eats at the battery a lot.
Absolutely brilliant!! Bought a new Galaxy Mini but very disappointed to find you only got one notification of text or other arrival. How stupid is that. Downloaded this free app, problem solved. It installs itself, has all the simple adjustments you need, couldn't be happier. Yay.
What gives?? Even with brand new phones cannot count on this app, especially for call reminder - no matter what tone I try....no sound reminder - sometimes screen blinking& vibrate - neither would wake me or get my attention from inside my purse. Sms reminder works sometimes- better than call reminder but unreliable at best! Ugh...such an important app...would be 5 stars plus if it just worked reliably for both reminders and the sounds! Sad!
Because there is no setting on the phone itself to do what this app does. No more missed calls or messages because you don't look at your phone every 5 second to see if someone contacted you.
Really like this app but I do not get reminders when I receive/miss MMS messages. Once fixed I'll give it 5.
Everyone I know uses vibrate on the phone instead of silent for most "quiet" situations. When phone is on vibrate it should automatically turn off sound and keep the vibrate notifications. Workaround is to use notification sound "silent" and leave vibrate on. BUT on my razr maxx nothing works at all unless the volume control box (the bottom one on the main screen) is checked. Even if sound is "silent". Also different color lights only seem to work when sound is not on "silent".
on Nexux4 4.2.2 works ok for SMS, but is almost aggressive. If sms app is open then it will keep triggering even though you are looking at the thread already. Expected desired behavior would be to raise a easy dismissible dialog when sms is not open to stop alert. right now even getting the alert to stop is not clear. Hard to tell what is triggering alert too. Dose not appear to work at for calendar reminders (at least not generated from exchange).
Droid 2. Doesn't tell me that there are messages. And doesn't tell me that I have missed calls. Have tried changing setting multiple times.
The app is well designed, works well, but drains 50% of my battery in just 3 hours Maybe it is version/device dependent... I ran it on Nexus S/android 4.1.1
Fail. Droid Bionic Fail Bionic Doesn't work Just installed not working on bionic Might possibly have to reboot the phone I'll give that a try. ***nope. Didn't work. Fail.***!

This non assuming app does exactly what it should! The missed call/ missed messages counter is included in the icon as you would expect from Android in the first place. On top of that you can easily set up a reminder, determine how often and for how long it should last. You control both the ringtone and the LED. Nothing short of perfect!
