The UgHalal App provides a directory of authentic halal products and services in Uganda based on Uganda Halal Bureau certification. Certification is based on Uganda Halal standards benchmarked against OIC standards and internationally acknowledged best practices. Halal certification offers assurance to the halal consumer of halal integrity and the general consumer of honest and transparent production and services. Halal certified companies are those enterprises willing to subject themselves to extra scrutiny with a commitment to satisfy the requirements of the halal consumer without compromising that of the general consumer.
