Voice+ (Google Voice callback) for Android
Is the app actively updated. On Android 5 automatic answer never worked. On Android 6. The Google account login fails. It asked me for password (risky!!!). This approach failed too. I am a paying customer. I would expect something better
First time trying to use this app but doesn't accept my google account says wrong password all the time. Read some reviews that it may be related to the new Google Voice update but i wouldn't know since it wld be my first time using this app.
Was 5 stars, now 2 cuz I can't use it! Unable to login after update to the new GV app. App won't accept my password. States invalid username and password. Sooooo please fix Mr. Kovacs. A response back would be nice.
Can't log in with name and password tried many many times carefully entering the p word and each time same thing. I don't advise getting it until u see them assuring people it works. Especially don't upgrade until then. I tried it in 2014 when I left sprint. It did bring back some features lost. I can't trust that paying for the app upgrade isn't throwing money away
First time startup, trying to sign in, pick my email, tells me to enter my password, I tried maybe 15 times every time CAREFULLY pressing every key slowly, doesn't work. I try on my browser to sign in, first time works no problem. Additionnal notes: they misswrote Canadian (Canadaian) Dont download its a waste of time.
Works OK. Two negatives - Purchased premium features, but Auto answer doesn't work. - Dialed number doesn't appear on Phone Call history.
Not sure why it stopped working after I swapped a sim card. Now no matter how many times I input my account information correct, it never login to my gmail account and kept telling me wrong username etc while I typed same info in other apps they all work just fine. When it works it like charming but so frustrated when it even doesn't login.
Can't log in to my Google account - therefore worthless. Android version 2.3.6 - I know its an old phone but if that is the issue than the app shouldn't support it.
This app worked great until recently. I just installed it on an insurance replacement (of a Pixel XL) and when I try to sign in to any google voice account it says "Invalid username or password" even though I'm 100% positive the username and password are correct.
I've used this app for years and it worked perfectly over the years but now all of a sudden I can't log in my Google account and I've tried emailing the developer but no reply. I really don't wanna see this die :(
Great app, but unfortunately it broke when Google updated Google Voice authentication in the latest version. Any chance it can be corrected? I had to disable it because it just can't log in. I was glad to pay the fee when it worked. Thanks!
Support for 2FA enabled Google accounts was broken in early 2017. You may want to try an app specific password. Dear #Google: Save Click2Call!
I've been looking for an app like this for years. Tested it . Bought it immediately. Does exactly what I need - dial a contact, get callback (free incoming minutes) from google voice. Talk. Seamless. Thanks for a great app.
Havent got to use this. Wont give me a number. Not sure if i am doing this right. Cant figure it out. Feeling frustrated
Used to work well.. I paid the upgrade now doesn't work. Seems like others are having similar issues
Unfortunately for me on the ZTE maven, it won't accept my Google login credentials, which work flawlessly every other time I use them. Might revise my review if problem can be rectified
This app seems to work well for me, at least initially, on an LG V10 device running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The callback feature is the key: I don't want to reveal my actual cell phone number because I use many phones from time to time, but my Google Voice number is always the same, and that's the number that folks know. For SMS texts, the Google "Voice" app (by Google) works fine, but it doesn't always do the job masking the phone's real number on voice calls. Have not tried it yet with two-factor authentication enabled.
outgoing calls are not registered in the native android dialer app. I am forced to open Voice+ to scroll on the bottom for list of all outgoing calls. What a headache!!! Lack of call back apps one of the reason why I switch to iPhone.. for the lack of availability of call back apps. I'm a contractor and I make 50+ calls a day.. I cannot rely on HANGOUTS or other voip app for calls as some areas with no LTE and only 3G one bar. this app is crucial to my daily activities.. and if it's broken.. then move on.. my search for better app continues.. I'm putting out a bounty for whoever makes a callback app like this with improvements. Edit: while not a deal breaker.. I've upgraded my phone from droid maxx hd to droid turbo 2.. so now for some reason Voice+ will not auto answer my callback calls.. something to do with software update?
I love this app.. it's very awesome. I know that's not very detailed.. but it does what it "says" it does.. :) Bare in mind if you are using multi-platform aka the google voice app on iphone does this job for you (enable "callback" in their app)
It is incompatible with one plus two Oxygen OS 3(android m based)dialer. This app cause dialer screen to freeze. It could be nice to get this fix.
The app relies on some Froyo era GUI calls that have long since been deprecated. Unfortunately this causes issues with the app. The developer has not responded to my last several emails. Have to call this app abandonware at this point. Which is sad since there isn't a viable alternative. Even iOS Google Voice has Click2Call ringback support - come on Google!
Using it for years, but on Lollipop when it prompts me, it prompts me over and over before actually making the call, sometimes it doesn't work and I have to dial the number again only to be prompt numerous times before it will accept my choice and make the call. Fix it please or tell me how.
Just what I needed to set my default dailer to a VoIP app linked to my GV account.
For using my mobile to dial, but my landline for voice.... widget makes it especially convenient
Aug 2011 - Wait 4-7 seconds for unlimited free calls... a small nuisance that is WELL worth the extra money in my pocket ...update, Nov 2015 - Have to agree with others, the premium features are very unreliable if they work at all.
This is the app I've been searching for. For nearly two years, I've become dependent on searching for phone numbers with my tablet and using the desktop web interface from my browser to do what this app does. You're going to save me a lot of time. +1,000,000 points! Gladly donated the $2! Please keep this app alive! Android M, CyanogenMod 13.
Doesn't work 80% of the time. Paid version.
Does not work with tmobile marshmallow update. I do not think this is app developers fault. If I'm wrong, let me know.
The free version of the app does exactly what it advertises!
The rules do NOT work..! Auto answer does NOT work. I paid for this app and it does not work as it should!
It appears that the phone number rules are trying to apply exact match on phone numbers including special characters such as ()- instead of stripping them and basing solely on the digits. For a paid app this can't be overlooked. This renders the premium feature not so premium. Otherwise it is a decent app.. However paid apps need to be put on a higher standard to be worth paying for...
Version 1.63 gets stuck on the red 'Cancel' page for no known reason since yesterday. The callback numbers are missing in Settings and will not repopulate. 'Google account' is not selected either. It says 'Successful', but unselects the email account button again. Uninstalled 1.63, then installed version 1.74. But, still the same problem. 1.63 worked fine for months.
USED to work great...but now will not log in with a different Google account than what is registered on the phone. Keeps saying invalid username or password.
I tried paid features and the I coming call is not picked up automatically as it should be when I set that up in settings. Some parts works, like not asking about routing the call (always GV is working) I need that to be able to pick up incoming call automatically. I have HTC one m8 (lollipop and I had kitkat and it did not work on any of those)
Works fantastically! Helps work around some of the outbound call problems with my Republic Wireless service. Wish I could adjust it to automatically pick-up sooner, but other than than, absolutely wonderful! I love the spinner it shows while initiating the dialing procedure... leaps-and-bounds better than my stock Republic Wireless dialer!
For the most part works as expected. My previous app that I had used no longer works. I'm glad I found your app. I'm trying out the free app and may purchase the premium features. The Auto Answer does not appear to work. I'm on a Samsung S4 with Lollipop. Couple of feature suggestions. 1) Ability to save and import Call rules. 2) Integration with standard phone dialer call log(or is this a premium feature) 3) Improve Ask Each Time window that pops up. It's a bit busy and confuses me when it pop's up at first. I will probably get used to it, but just a suggestion. 4) Fix Auto Answer functionality or is this a phone specific/OS issue? Will strongly consider purchasing if you can upgrade some of these features. Thanks!
Auto answer under paid section worked on my galaxy note 3 with 4.4 but with the new Galaxy Note 5 5.1 it doesn't work. You would have to press answer button each time. Other than that.. The app works like it should
and I hope your scientists develop an anti-aging med & diet soon.
This app has made Google Voice really viable for free calling with Friends & Family unlimited minute plans that popped up on American carriers a few years ago. I have one of those plans (with unlimited data, woot). Recently however, the app has begun to have major bugs with Lollipop 5.1 on multiple devices that I own. Calls don't initiate and the app seems to crash in the process of placing a call. I have emailed the developer a couple times, and haven't heard back. Really hope the app isn't abandonware, there isn't another solution out there (Hangouts uses less-reliable VoIP, for example).

Used this app before and then it stopped working. Reinstalled today and I can't sign in. Selecting my account, it says "Could not login. Please enter password". A little fishy if you ask me. Then I enter my password and immediately it says "Invalid username or password!", not taking long enough to have actually tried to authenticate. Unusable for me. If the developer could contact me with any help or a fix, that would be great!
