A csalogány és a rózsa

Azt ígérte, táncol velem, ha piros rózsát viszek neki – kiáltott fel a diák –
csakhogy az én kertemben nincs egyetlen szál piros rózsa.
Hallotta ezt a csalogány fészkében, az örökzöld tölgy mélyén és kinézett a
levélréseken át és elcsodálkozott.
- Nincs a kertemben egyetlen szál piros rózsa! – kiáltott fel a fiú és szép szeme
megtelt könnyel. – Milyen apróságokon múlik is a boldogság! Olvastam mindent,
amit a bölcsek írtak, ismerem a tudományok titkait, mégis tönkremegy az életem
egyetlen szál piros rózsa miatt.
