The GUIDE@HAND Walks are created to help you see new places, objects and patterns and discover the past and present of cities with a fresh perspective. All Walks take 2 our 3hours, so you get to know everything in an easy, fun and adventurous way. Our Guided City Walks are designed in a way that you can simply use your mobile device as an Audio Guide. Just put it in your pocket, and it will help your discovery by navigating you from one point of interest to the next and you will be presented all information and stories at the right time. With GUIDE@HAND you can always determine your location, see where you are on the map. You can also view pictures/images of the sights or read everything that you have heard previously. You can take a break from your walk any time and resume sightseeing later.
Joined to the national museum event, on 16th June the museums, archives and galleries in Esztergom and Párkány organize the 7th Museums at Night. From 6 p.m. till Midnight 16 places all around the town will be open and attracts visitors with special programmes and exhibitions. With this guide visitors can discover the unique cultural, historical heritages in the city, and they can get all information about the event. In the Danube Museum they can enjoy a special walk about the most interesting and outstanding objects and themes of the exhibition.
EXPLORE WITH OFFLINE MAP
You can also discover the city’s points of interest on your own, using the “Explore” tab and our offline city map. Whenever you approach a point of interest your device will automatically provide you with basic relevant information. You can then choose to listen to additional, related stories.
EVENTS YOU CAN SEARCH AND DISPLAY ON YOUR MAP
The „Events“ function is an electronic up-to-date program guide. GUIDE@HAND helps you choose from a range of events near you such as exhibitions, festivals, etc.

What to gain by getting GUIDE@HAND?
INSTALL:
By installing GUIDE@HAND, you already have access to our offline city map. Your current location will be indicated on the map and you can easily browse various services (POIs) available in the city. You can set the default language here.
DOWNLOAD A WALK:
By downloading one or more of our city walks from the "Walks" tab, you will enrich your map with many new sightseeing information, points of interest, pictures and descriptions. All this new information will be available in your „Explore“ tab so that you can visit, read or browse them any time.
ATTENTION: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This only applies to pressing the HOME button on the map view.
