The World Science Forum EVENT@HAND app is a virtual guide to the 7th World Science Forum on The Enabling Power of Science, which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, between 4-7 November, 2015.
The app provides detailed information on the plenary sessions and plenary speakers, and also makes the slides to be presented at the Forum accessible for all users. An offline city map of Budapest is integrated within the app to complement the printed agenda and makes getting around the Palace of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences an interactive experience.
Scope:
World Science Forum is a biennial event initiated by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and organized in joint co-operation with UNESCO, ICSU, AAAS, TWAS, and EASAC. In its short history the Forum has earned itself a reputation of being one of the most widely recognized world-wide meetings of the stakeholders of knowledge with its record of exclusive attendance by eminent scientists, political decision makers from over 100 countries.
