This is an application version of the NYC DOT's detailed 2017 bicycle map. Totally ad-free and no data connection is needed to browse it! It only needs permission to access your location so that it can mark you on the map, even in Staten Island :)!
The application itself is designed to be simple, with only one button to swap between the front and back pages of the map. Make sure your location services are switched on in your phone's settings (cell tower + wifi based location is usually enough in Manhattan).

Simply put, this is one of the best apps I have seen for either OS. The developer has chosen an important task and has created an app that is simple, elegant, stable and gets the job done extremely well with no fuss, muss or needless complexity. It is also a very useful offline subway and street map. It is even better than using a PC for the task. A home run. Kudos.

Great app but uses 2014 version of the bike map. The 2015 has been issued but isn't here.

This is a simply excellent app! It works great. It works offline and zooms really close and when you zoom the type zooms too (wish Google maps would do that!). I originally gave it only three stars because I'm far-sighted and need glasses to read but don't wear them when I'm cycling. I wrote then that If this app would just zoom closer it would be perfect. To my surprise the developer responded right away and notified me. I tried it out but asked for it to zoom even closer still. Well, he responded again! Thanks András for an excellent app by an awesome developer!
