On my Samsung Galaxy S5 mini running stock Android 4.4.2 (rooted) it doesn't work. It just force closes and says "Unfortunately scan media has stopped" and it doesn't do anything at all. A fix would be very much appreciated. EDIT 17OCT2014: just reinstalled to test again and now the behaviour is different. Now it just says ""Scanning Media..." and 2 seconds later it says "Media Scanner finished". But actually nothing happens.

MTP was not showing any files, ringtones list was empty, phone stopped notifications. One rescan fixed it all. Loved it.
