MeNTA

MeNTA provides an opportunity to organise and track data about the user’s health condition. Through its search functions, it also contributes to a more effective use of healthcare and services. It provides a simple and user-friendly interface while laying great emphasis on the safety of data and private information. MeNTA increases the health consciousness of users by improving the availability of services and information. It facilitates the continuous monitoring of common chronic health problems such as high blood pressure or diabetes. Health goals become easily achievable by creating and following a health plan with the use of the fitness and nutrition modules. MeNTA helps users become proactive in preventing illnesses through the knowledge and information it provides. It opens new avenues of communication between the patient and the GPs or other healthcare professionals. By allowing the user to complete and share personal data stored in national institutions, MeNTA results in healthcare tailored to the needs of the general public, thus improving the quality of life.

Blood pressure and heart rate module

Cardiovascular issues are an endemic in Hungary, their prevention therefore plays a significant role in the application. It provides an easy opportunity for the user to register personal blood pressure data on a graph or a list as well as to share and evaluate data with the relevant healthcare provider or professional.

Diabetes module

The diabetes module allows the user to track blood glucose levels, including the time of measurement and circumstances of testing, such as „before a meal” or „60 minutes after a meal”. This allows your GP to personalize your treatment plan. Data can be viewed on a graph or a list. The system evaluates the results, allowing users to share them with your GP or diabetologist.

Medicine module

The Medicine module will never let you forget to take your daily medicines. It is based on a certified medical database that allows for an easier understanding through its descriptions written in plain language. The patient information leaflet is also included, users can therefore obtain all available information on a particular medicine through the application.

Weight module

This module allows the users to register their weight every day. On the graph, the user can observe the changes of body weight on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. The module also puts the user in the appropriate BMI (Body Mass Index) category, thus helping them to achieve the optimal body weight. It calculates the user’s optimal daily calorie intake based on their weight and lifestyle. The calories consumed or burned can be registered in the fitness and nutrition modules.

Fitness module

In this module, the users can register minutes and hours spent with physical activity and thereby get an idea of how much calories their daily activities burned. By registering the desired weight and using the module in conjunction with the nutrition module, it calculates how many calories the user needs to burn on a daily basis.

Nutrition module

The nutrition module helps to register calorie intake from foods and beverages consumed throughout the day. Products are easy to find in a food and drink database. Their nutritional value is automatically added to a daily consumption list that also shows calorie intake in relation to the calories burned.

Data protection

The MENTA system complies by data protection rules and employs the strictest data protection methods. Data only becomes available in accordance with the user’s intentions and only for the appointed people. If you don’t want to share your data with previously selected people in the future, it takes one swipe to deny access from them.
