S.S. United States Companion

Time is running out. Once again, our Country’s Iconic Flagship is on the verge of being scrapped. Most of the conventional approaches to date have prevented serious consideration to permanently berth the S.S. United States in anyplace other than a major metropolitan area. Our purpose is to accelerate awareness-building for the proposed S.S. United States Delaware River Entertainment Complex, and to raise the necessary public and financial support. “We the People” are the true owners of this National Treasurer. If we let it go to the scrappers, shame on us - it will be a national disgrace and travesty. Not only are five-years of invested hard planning and pre-development work at stake, but mostly the hopes and dreams of thousands of our poor and middle-class neighbors in need of family-sustaining permanent jobs. The opportunity to re-purpose the S.S. United States as a real estate development catalyst in the City of Chester is a once-in-a-century opportunity.
