Homie Real Estate Search for Android
Filters are absolutely horrible! Basic functions are not there. It is obvious no market research was done as other apps are far superior.
Not bad, but lacks some features that I would have thought pretty basic like saving a search and getting notifications of new matches, or "bookmarking" listings you'd like to come back to. Has promise though.
Just downloaded 30 seconds ago, but everytime I try to open it, "please update your app to continue".
9/24/17 won't open, keeeps asking to update but none available.
Still crashes every time as soon as it starts.
Crashes when it starts.
I want to use the app, but it's response to opening the app is to immediately crash.
While I love the idea of "taking out the middle man" this app leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to refining your search results. I am curious how much research they put into similar apps before launching. The options for narrowing your search results are extremely limited. This means that I'm wasting my time scrolling past homes that don't fit my criteria. While their limited number of sellers at the moment may appear to make this less of an issue, potential users of the app (such as myself) will be immediately turned off by this failure to provide a search which mirrors the industry standards. Ways to improve the buyers experience: - Allow people to manually enter their budget (don't jump between 100k.) - Allow people to specify what type of property they are interested in purchasing (single family, multi family, condo, etc.) - Allow people to sort by the age of the listing - Allow people to specify lot size - Allow people to enter a key word Best of luck in this new endeavor. This app wasn't helpful in our current home search, but hopefully it will be in our next one.
Not easy to use. Very few listings compared to other apps, not worth the time it takes.
Constantly crashes
Worst app ever
Extremely limited filters (price range only jumps by 100k, nothing in between) hard to maneuver map and some issue with picture formatting. Attractive layout though
This app has significantly less homes listed then other home buying apps. Waste of time.
Keep up the good work! Real estate agents add a lot of value for some people, but not a necessity for all.
Pretty much what Anne Ashworth said. Needs more filters, and I wish you could favorite homes. Zillow is much better IMO
NOT a good experience so far.
Frankly, this app does really well, I love that I can search for homes in a city and I can filter for the price range I'm looking for. It runs well, photos work fine, and it gives basic details regarding the house. I might suggest: Allow me to create a login so I can save favorite houses. Another suggestion: point out the filtering better, I couldn't find it at first. Lastly, put sections into search results so I can more easily see which houses are in what city.
Limited filtering options, hard to navigate on the map view, can't always see the full image of the last result. Didn't have a clean way of providing points of interest information.
