I am an intruder alarm engineer, and this app is the best on the market. It gives you the opportunity to monitor your own alarm at all times. Giving you peace of mind without the huge cost. If you want to use it just to set the alarm from your bed then just get a key fob as that is not what the app is really designed for, although I still use it for that. It works like a charm and if you set up a family account on Google u only have to pay for it once and use it accross multiple devices. Perfect.

Despite having excellent wifi the app takes over 60 seconds to open and set. On the few occasions we've set the alarm off its been quicker to run downstairs to the panel than to deactivate it on the phone. Very frustrating and not worth the money. Emailed the company and of course got no reply. It's so bad we're considering putting a panel in upstairs now instead of using the app.

My System has to have a GSM circuit board installed to use this app. But hkc doesn't tell you this before you buy it.

Disappointed you have to buy the app for each person in the house. Probably should allow at least 2 downloads on first purchase.

Takes ages to load. Crashes a lot too. Plus having to pay for each device is ridiculous.

Love the alerts and easy to use

Every time I open the app it crashes and then reopens fine which is very annoying. Please try fix this.

Im on Note 3 running Cyanogen mod 10. The App randomly dials the installers number at all hours of the day and night when cancelling a notification. I Had the installers branding removed from the site to see if it stops the random dialling. Fingers crossed.

Had this installed today and it does not perform as promised and is far too expensive when you consider the monthly service cost plus the cost of the app very poor value for money. You guys are milking your customers with an expensive and defective app

I like this app and it's very handy but since I downloaded the latest update 2 days ago on my S5 the audio for the notifications comes through even when my phone is on vibrate only. Very disruptive when in meetings etc. Please fix.

App is average. Does what it should. Could be nicer. The log interrogation is hit and miss which is a big minus for me

Great app! Gets better with each release could do with a search facility for sites though!

Given that this is an App that you have to pay for, the notifications should work. They don't. My wife has the App on her iPhone, notifications work on that.

The issue I have with this app is that if I untick all the options in the application settings it makes no difference I still receive an audio through the phone. HKC please fix it.

In last 3 days (15 Oct 2014) connection was not available good few times to securecomm server. Considering the fact that HKC charge 60 euro for sevice and 7 euro for app. This really poor service.

With this app HKC have made self-monitoring a viable alternative to traditional monitoring services. The UI is clear but could be refined a little. I'd also like to see an admin menu allowing the easy activation/deactivation (and renaming) of specific users/prox tags (useful if you're letting you house out for airbnb or something). Good work... keep at it.

As an installer I have not found any faults worth commenting on. Great layout and very easy to connect and use.

Great little app

Every so often when my connection is lost again the app goes to a white screen and then black. Freezes and I have to force power reset. Only app that freezes like this. Not impressed.

Okay. Can't change the name of sites which is something that is available on the iphone app. Other than that it works perfectly

Working for Lock Up Alarms and making great use of the new HKC GSM SC and the app. Great step forward both for the customer and the Engineer. No faults to report.
