HelpMe is an SOS app, designed for speed. All features are made with standard android graphics in order to make it fast to start and operate.
With one button press all your pre-defined emergency contacts are sent an sms making them aware of the fact that you are in danger. At the same time as the emergency sms is sent, the GPS tries to locate your position and as soon as it is acquired, it is sent to your emergency contacts.
These steps are then repeated, at specified intervalls, until they are shut off by the user.
The position is sent both as coordinates and a google-map link.
Should you wish you can edit the emergency sms that will be sent. This is advised if you intend to add emergency services to your contacts.

1. This app needs a widget that activates the emergency text messages with one single click. Having to go into the app and then clicking something again is not good and will likely be forgotten when the user is in a panic. 2. Needs a huge warning message pop-up to prompt the user to activate location if it isn't activated. If the user forgets this, the location messages will not get sent. Even better if the app itself activates location automatically. Add these two things, and your app beats all the others!
