Understood app after buying 3 devices. checkout kankun community to customize the switch and you wont need an app to use it. Access the switch using a url etc.

Holding the button so it slow flashes and then pressing configure never works. Got one setup somehow where wifi is really weak but in the house where I have full signal will not configure.... Tried it again on my useless $30 Android phone and it damn well worked.

Absolute junk. Does not even find the plug. Tried everything you are supposed to do but nothing. Chinese junk.

Smart plug

Instruction manual is so bad. Actually need to connect with Smart Plug first then configure. However, timer doesnt function correctly. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Not consistent I hope there's new fw to fix this.

Just like many others, my setup process failed at 15% pr 10% each time I tried. I suspect Android Security Policy preventing connection to unsecured wifi network, ie OK_SP3.

This app does not work with the Nexus 6P or Nexus 7 running Marshmallow. I have a Galaxy S3 running 4.4.2 and it works fine. The marshmallow devices can see and connect to the OK_SP3 network. But the app gets stuck at 5% when configuring your local Wifi network. The direct mode also does not work.

Had to use the iPhone version to get it setup, then it works fine on my Android.

Tried multiple phones and tablets. Failed to config every time. Always fails at 15% :( .-.-.

Not able to connect to my wifi modem. Even not able to connect directly. Network timeout error. Feeling bad after purchase

It's pretty hard to set up. I was frustrated after my 10th or so try, and about to throw it, and then, it miraculously worked. It's working fine now.

Connect to sp3 wifi. Open app and sertings manully enter wifi ssid and password of your home network,click configure it will discont you from smart plug,manjally connect to home wifi go back into app and plug should show up in devices tab to be renamed to whatever :)

Says my phone is 59 mins out of sync after daylight savings (1 hour) change in Victoria, Australia. How do I resync without rediscovering the device?

Not reliable. Power loss for a second: needs reprogramming. Daylight Savings change: reconfigure and reprogram. Now the app can't find one of the devices.

Did not ever connect

Firmware update fails, initial connection and setup us buggy as hell and took 4 tries and me manually connecting to the device first. Get a wiwo instead. They work.

App is easy to install and got the major appliances and devices on auto shut off. Great app and great device for energy saving. Used an Asus Zenfone 5, iPhone5 and Windows 8.1 Tablet.

As mentioned in a previous review, it shuts the wifi down on my Samsung S4, switches to 3g, then error message comes up telling me to make sure the phone is connected to wifi. Is it the app or the smart plug causing the issue?
