SMS Find My Phone – Find the phone when it is misplaced and muted by sending a trigger SMS message.(+ SMS Popup for quick view as a BONUS feature)

Receiving a SMS message with a unique trigger phrase to maximum the sound ringer volume of misplaced phone.
* Which permissions does it need?
– Receive SMS: filter for the trigger phrase.
– Disable keylock: to jump over the keylock and play music
– Read contact data: to look up and load contact from incoming number (optional)
*** NOT work together with SMS app such as 'GO SMS', because of lower priority of hearing/reading SMS.

The resulting ringtone cannot be changed and is... "not quite my taste". On a low-end phone, it's way too slow (sound starts several minutes after receipt of SMS).

I lost my phone, asked someone to send the text, and no sound was produced. Also doesn't give you the option to select the sound. Its only generic music you'd hear from the 90s

Contrary to the app description, this DOES work w/Go SMS. You just need to go into the Go message notification settings and disable the option that disables other notifications, then this app will work.

The best part of SMS triggering is you don't need to have the device connected to the internet unlike other "find phone" solutions. You can keep your data & wifi off if you want to conserve battery and still locate your muted misplaced phone.

Test I recommend to use SMS Popup mode, very easy to read full message in lock screen. Need to work with list of sound though.
