When I started to control my salt intake, I found that most food's labels were, at best, lacking information to compare between different foods. So I made this little app to help me decide which food to choose.
Clicking on bold text you can change between grams/milligrams of sodium/salt. Then type the data into the fields, the app will give you the percentage of salt compared with a daily upper limit of 2300 milligrams of sodium.
With menusettings you can change your upper limit.
Warning: consult your doctor to know your recommended salt intake.
Requires internet access to show adMob ads.

I like the simplicity of this app, however the biggest issue I have with it is that sodium is calculated in grams when it's labelled in milligrams on nutrition labels. I mean converting it on your own is easy but I wanted my grandma to use this app to monitor her sodium intake and she has trouble remembering to convert it. Not only that, but there should be an option to record the intake without a serving size in grams because nowadays most packages say serving size = 1 bottle, 4 crackers, 1 package, etc.

It doesn't save what you have used so far through the day only calculated the one serving...nutritional label gives me that so what is the purpose of this app?
