About Guide for Facetune Beauty
Facetune exists to be a place where all of us can simply be who we are — a place to chronicle our lives and share our thoughts, to discover new ideas and outlooks, and to share in something much larger than ourselves, a global community for expression.
We must carefully consider what we — you, me, us — want Facetune to be. Facetune is ours to build together.
Be kind to one another
Share who you are and be respectful of the community. Facetune isn’t a platform to bully and harass others. We will take down content that degrades or shames others. We will take down content that targets private individuals in a harassing manner. Tap or click on the ellipsis ( … ) below every image or top of every journal to report bullying or harassment.
There’s no place for hate on Facetune
We will take down content that promotes or encourages hatred or violence towards others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or diseases. We also don’t allow content that shows hatred to animals or humans, or abuse toward their remains. Tap or click on the ellipsis ( … ) below every image or top of every journal to report instances of hate found on Facetune.
Facetune celebrates original expression
We want to see the world through your eyes and thoughts. Be respectful of others and only share images that you yourself have taken. If you see your work in the account of another, please refer to our DMCA policy for resolution.
Nudity is not allowed on Facetune
Given the wide range of ages and cultures on Facetune, we do not allow content that includes frontal nudity or highly sexualized content. There are a few exceptions: images of classical fine art, mothers breastfeeding, and those that document mastectomy scars are welcome.
We take the protection of children very seriously
We will remove any content that comes to our attention that depicts (or may depict) sexually explicit images of minors or appears to sexualize children. We will promptly report this content to the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children.
Commercial use on Facetune
We want to see all the wonderful things the Facetune community creates. Makers, brands, and organizations are encouraged to share, but we don’t want ads to take away from your experience on the platform. You are invited to share and write about what you are making and how community members can purchase from you, but we may remove images that have sales-related text overlays (logos and brand overlays for your content are generally fine) or spam.
Act lawfully
Don’t post or do illegal things on Facetune. Do not post images that support organized crime or terrorist activities or that seek to incite violence. Don’t post images of illegal behavior either - this includes illegal drugs or other banned substances, sexual services, harm to animals and humans, fraudulent activities, and well, simply put, everything else that is against the law.
Facetune is a healthy community
We believe a healthy community is built on healthy behaviors and we support those of you on the journey of recovery. Images that promote or encourage others to inflict self-harm (such as cutting or eating disorders) aren’t allowed on Facetune. If you are on Facetune and see someone that might be in danger of hurting themselves, please report it to us. If you personally know someone in danger, please know there are resources that can be found here.
Help keep Facetune a safe place for everyone
It’s important to us that Facetune remains a great place for all of us to have the freedom to authentically create and express ourselves. If you see an image, journal or behavior that you feel violates our Terms of Use or may indicate an imminent threat to the well-being or safety of that person or others, we want to know.
