Financial Independence

Financial Independence is the concept of accumulating enough wealth that you are able to live solely off of your investments. Contrary to popular belief, one does not need to be a multi-millionaire in order to achieve financial independence. With some smart savings and adjusting ones lifestyle, you might find that you are able to live off of a much smaller amount of money than you previously thought. This is important because the less money you need to live, the less you need to save in order to retire (the sooner the better!). This app allows you to input your current information, and will calculate how many more years you need to work in order to be able to live off of your accumulated wealth.

NOTE: It is assumed that all money saved is invested in some type of index fund that will generate the yearly average of a 7% increase. Taking out 3% for average inflation, and the user will need to be able to live off of 4% of their savings every year.

SECOND NOTE: This is my first app, and I am using it to learn about the app creation process, but I do hope that you enjoy it as well!
