Color ID (Free)

Developer needs to use the new camera API and set the orientation correctly, the image appears upside down on my Nexus 5x.

Hi developer, I'm using Redmi Note 2 with 5.0.2 Android OS, and seems this application not reporting any named color, it only displayed "simple color" and some #rgb value that not updated accordingly when I have deactivated the 3 seconds auto color check, and using "tap to identify color" button. Seems it was still using 3 seconds setting. So I uninstall it, waiting for the next updates/patch/bug fix of this issue to be available.

The app doesnt do well identifying colors which I presume is because of glare from the light source. When I removed the glare it was a little better but still wrong. Case in point...I tried to have it identify firetruck red and it identified light orange instead

Color is "Bluish Greenish Yellowish, grayish brownish pinkish." this app is useless.

Claimed black is purple, red is pale yellow and cream is light blue? Either I'm seeing colours very differently or the app is crap.

When I was about to download the color id it was taking so long but now it is doing great than before. I am so exited about it

Not consistent. If you move it a little bit it gets a new color. Apparantly my wall has like 6 different colors in a 3 inch area.

I was less than impressed by this app's ability to accurately identify colors. It identified a definite burgundy as a number of different oranges, and finally "reddish brown" but identified my black keyboard AND my caucasian hand as purple. As I am quite alive and not cyanotic, you could say it missed by a bit!

This app could be so much better... and there is a real market out there for something like this (especially for colour blind people). The colour identifier is no where near accurate... The colour HEX colour picked looks correct, but the descriptions are wrong... a little more work on perfecting the colour definitions and this could be a great app... Ill try this again if an update is applied, in the mean time, I'll leave it for now.

Sadly the app is crippled by the camera of the phone, hence it's really unlikely to get colors accurate

App sucks, my friend said it was awesome but it wasnt, my red nail polish thats red is apperently green and blue! Not listening to her again! >.

Good idea, but actual color detection most times is obviously wrong, maybe needs some precalibration or camera flash. Also needs an ability to disable voice.

The color identification skills of this application are sub par. I used it a few times to try to entertain myself but it was not up to standards, even in the best of lighting.
