Wma To Mp3 Converter for Android
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Doesn't recognize SD cards though. Simultaneously, you have to edit the resulting files' names AND replace the original files. So I recommend not doing too many conversions at the same time.
Waste of time, do not get. I tried it, and it didn't work, the songs wouldn't show up in my original player, and it took forever to convert. Connected me phone to my laptop to see what happened, the 'converted' files weren't in the phones Music folder, they weren't in any folder. I couldn't move them into the Music folder of play them, I moved them onto my computer and still couldn't play them. Also the names of the songs had so much extra stuff added to them, you wouldn't be able to see what the actual song was in a player.
Bought this with reservations but the files on my sd card will not convert in single file or batch mode so in my opinion this app fails! (In fairness I need to revise my opinion of this app. It does work but you need to first move the wma files to internal storage. The files then become visible to the app which converts them. I then delete the wma files and move the mp3's to the original folder then move this folder back to the sd card. A royal pain! But it works.
I was skeptical at first, but the app did the job well, converting my wma file to mp3. Searching the file at first was tricky, but once you found it, you can just convert it. Luv this app.
Olive it! Hints: First choose and remember the file location of your converted .mp3's. Use a location in the internal memory of your device (if you have a choice) Use this as a temporary destination for the converted .mp3's. (It takes longer for the conversions if you string out the destination and change it every time.) Then after the conversion is done, use your "File Manager" to locate the mp3's and Create a permanent file to put them into. Afterwards, don't forget to remove -delete- the original wma. files from your device. Otherwise they're just taking up space.
Gave this 5 stars bcos I am also a developer, so I know even though programming is fun, it can also be time consuming. This app converted my WMA files successfully. The only problem is that if the phone sleeps, the conversion speed changes to little or nothing. But am sure the developer can work that out.
Works great. Who are these dorks who can't figure out how to use this? It does one thing. Select the wma file and click 'convert to mp3'. It's that simple.
Does what it says on the tin. Interface could be better, and it takes a while to convert, but no serious complaints. Also to the people saying that you can't access your SD card, you can actually.
Waste of time to download. Useless and unsupported user interface. Better recheck or update. Thanks Neeraj
I was able to use this app just once to convert a WMA file to mp3. The next time I tried it simply does not work. This is just a one time use and throw app.....
Does what it is for, ie convert WMA files to MP3 files in batches, if a little bit slowly. Doesn't deserve to be slammed. I was happy to pay for the ad free version. It is eccentric in that it does things, for no apparent reason, that have to be worked around. For example for me: it hides the created files from a connected Windows PC; sometimes makes more than one new copy of files; keeps a list of files it creates and keeps checking that they are still there which would be ok except that sometimes it thinks it has gone so it creates another one. If you delete it from the list to stop it doing that, it deletes the file as well! In summary. It works but wastes some time. If you find another free program that can do batch conversions, it is probably better.
Does exactly what it says I had previous problems with not being able to upload wma files on other converters but this one fulfilled my expectations good job
This app won't let me convert this one song, for some reason the rest are fine but no I can't convert this one song
My Sony XA1 can't play wma files, turns out this app is not as disappointing as other apps, you have to find to files and get somewhere store them. But the converting time is a bit slow though
It seems working, but damn, why do you need to add that timestamp suffix to filenames. Why not to just leave the original names and to replace the extension. I did a batch conversion and now I need to rename 200 files manually? It's insane
I'm one of the dorks who cannot get this to work. Press all the button, it says it is converting, then, nothing. It did create a couple of files with mp3 extensions, but they never played. Tried it in batch and single file mode.
The app works, but you have to move files stored on an SD card to device storage for conversion and move the converted files to your SD afterwards. I subtracted one star for the inconvenience, and the fact that the conversion rate is very slow... it took 30 mins to convert 7 songs. However, this was on an older device running kit Kat 4.4. I will edit my rating if there is a noticeable difference in speed on any of my newer devices, or if the issue of having to move files around is addressed. Otherwise, thanks to devs for a solid app that actually works b/c there are so many fake conversion apps that I had just about given up.
Does what it says I guess, BUT whenever I try to save to my SD card the app crashes! So I have to save it to my phone's storage and that's not what I want! Also I have converted some file already but yet, it doesn't show that in the app! Says I have converted ZERO files, which is not true. PLEASE HELP WITH THESE ISSUES!!!!!!
The app says it does convert the wma audio to mp3 but failed to convert my wma. It wasted my time and datas am extremely pissed
It works!!!! Need I say more? After trying out so many MP3 editors etc that utterly fail, it feels amazing to find an app that actually does what it sets out to do!
Tried to convert a WMA file to MP3 and does not work in any music player on my phone or my computer..
Do waste your time downloading this app. I tried to convert a wma file in my Dropbox to and the app crashes.
It acted as if the files were being converted but they were not. A waste of time and energy.
Doesn't give option for music on SD card. Waste of time
Had trouble from the start. Difficult to select files. No confimation when converted. Now the Google player will not play.
Tedious to use, batch converter doesn't work properly-misses out various tracks for no reason.
4 stars because it takes a long time. Luckily I only needed for one song. Very very easy to use.
This app wasted my time! It does respond when wma files are selected.
I have tried several times to save my work and NOTHING HAPPENS!
This app does exactly what is says it will do. I had over 300 songs in wma format and app converted them all. Highly recommend app for anyone looking to convert wma files to mp3.
Works but conversion is painfully slow. It barely uses any CPU
Waste of time. It didn't work at all, plus too many ads.
Useless, it doesn't convert the files. Xiaomi redmi 4 pro, android 6.
I think Google needs to do their homework. Not the app developer. The reason behides this is such app like this one shouldn't be on the play store. The app requires intensive testing before approval. Please do your homework.
I successfully completed the change after other apps failed so it's the best to me
Only had one file to convert. Did the job!
Awesome app.. Does what it says. So simple. Don't know why others are giving such low review
Didn't do what it's supposed to do. Pretty crappy!
The conversion from WMA to mp3 is great,I sincerely love it... But I wish it also have sound Editor, would be woa.... But I am sincerely impressed with this app.... 5starts

Very easy to use, don't usually rate apps but this app was getting slated by some people. Can't understand why they found it so difficult to use as you literally only have to press 2 or 3 buttons which are clearly marked as well. Very happy with app thanks for all your hard work ????
