About HNHS Nautilus Charts
NAUTILUS CHARTS is an off-line Nautical Charts plotting and positioning system for mobile devices.
The chart system is unique, since the vector data that are used to display the cartographic information come from the official HELLENIC NAVY HYDROGRAPHIC SERVICE (HNHS) ENC database (IHO-International Hydrographic Organization S-57 data format).
Thanks to the various ENC usage bands, the user can zoom in and out of the map while the system automatically shows or hides respectively the appropriate nautical information based on the scale of the display.
The nautical charts that are loaded in the system cover all the Hellenic Archipelago Seas (HNHS cartographic responsibility) and provide real time positioning (vessel’s position and course).
Toponyms (place names) and map features are displayed either in English or Greek language.

Charts are great and with good detail. The application is fast without lag or bugs. Overall highly recommended.It would have been an extra positive if it would show all areas of recommended anchorage, marinas or mooring buoys (if any) and do so even in lower scale.

Really good app and at a decent price for what it offers when compared with all the others available. It would help if an even higher resolution was available so we could zoom in certain map areas close to land. Also, don't know if that is my fault or if it originates from the app but with just gps turned on my position is slightly off so I have to turn on data packages in order to pinpoint my location.

This map is an excellent effort which could be enhanced by adding some pilot information like port data, marinas, contact numbers etc.
