Xperia Water Resistance Test

Dunno how reliable it is (only one way to find out!) but when I have the charging cover open it says it probably isn't waterproof, while it says that it probably is when the charging cover is closed. Great idea!

I have Sony Xperia Z5 compact with a broken battery door (glass) the test tells me that my phone is waterproof. Is it really waterproof ?

I got a Xperia Z3 which is supposed to be waterproof but the app says it isnt. Unsure if app is right?

Even though I have a z1 it says it's not water resistant. Lol

It shows my Xperia Z3+ not to be water resistant, so i took a bath with it, using it under water and nothing happend

Confirmed working on xperia z3+ (z4) but I have a protective film on my screen. Not sure how this affects reliability.

Do the test just as what they said, and then *boom* it said that my devices is not waterproof. Test it straight, sink it into a bowl of water for 10 minutes straight, my phone is still working properly.

I have xperia m4 aqua says it not waterproof but i always use on the pool and it is truly waterproof bullshit app

Tested the app on my Xperia Z5 Compact. The test turned out as positive with the flap closed, but always indicated it wasn't water resistant with the flap open. So while I still won't use my phone in the showers just in case, this app does work as it claims, and I can happily use the phone without fear of water damage.

To my surprise, this app also worked on the Samsung S6 Active! Finally, I can fall off a canoe with my phone and have peace of mind that everything will be ok.

Showing my xperia z ultra is not waterproof.... And im pretty sure it is as I frequently use it in the shower.... And also wash it now and then

This app confirmed my Samsung s5 is indeed not waterproof! I will pack a zip loc bag before my rafting trip and consider an experia next time. Either way, thoroughly enjoyed testing my phone!

My Z2 is probably resistant.

Easy and simple to use. Very accurate. I wish I knew of this app before. Now my bf is able to find out if his phone is waterproof before taking it out in the rain on long scooter rides.
