ROC-V Mobile Edition is an adaptation of the ROC-V desktop software suite for mobile devices. ROC-V trains military personnel to identify combat vehicles quickly and intuitively. ROC-V Mobile Edition allows users to study images and identifying information of up to hundreds of vehicles then test their knowledge in two different game-like challenges.
ROC-V Mobile Edition ships with six default lists:
-All Vehicles
-Soldier’s Manual of Common Tasks (SMCT)
-Rotary Wing Only
-Tracked Only
-Wheeled, Armored Only
-Wheeled, Unarmored Only
Users can also create custom sets from scratch.
Free Study Mode:
-Allows users to view images of vehicles from eight different aspects, learn helpful H.A.T.S/R.E.F.T. identification cues and compare two vehicles side-by-side.
Contains two engaging challenge modes:
Vehicle Discrimination Challenge
-Presents the user with two images, side-by-side, and is prompted to click on the image of the named vehicle.
Timed Signature Challenge
-Asks the user to identify a displayed vehicle through a six-alternative, timed multiple-choice test.

On a smartphone, the app's images are adequate. Would like to see larger images for tablet devices. Also, for future development, would like to see addition of vehicles viewed through thermal sights as well as an overhead view to aid training in identifying vehicles via UAV feed. I would echo a need for more vehicles to be added. T-90, 2S19, etc.

Great selection of vehciles and it forces you to visualize the vehcile from many angles.... the only drawback is during the quizzes, the photos are the size of film negatives and very difficult to see detail.

Excellent first version. No bugs, runs effectively with large number of vehicles and 8 view standardization. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn basic and detailed vehile ID. Every military service member with an Android should download this on principle alone. There is now no excuse for not knowing what your loooking at.... Add user upload ability. Add simulation with fly by/drive by. Add user capability to edit tests. Add strech zoom capability.

There is no such thing as an RG-31 Cougar. These are different vehicles. Also, you have a RG33 listed with a picture of a Cougar. Do your honework if you're giving our soldiers a training aid.
