app says no internet when trying to file complaint with address

The app is getting better, now the problem is having the city to correct the complaints.

Absolutely useless

The 311 system does not have a category for residential parking areas exposed to weather climate. Like upper levels etc, landlords charge fees in the Bronx NY areas and don't keep it clean. People fall and get hurt and landlords get away with it, while they are reliable for not keeping up with maintenance and it's current weather conditions. The elderly have to avoid trying to use their vehicles to avoid a fall and fracturing a bone or two.

I tried to submit a complaint about a street light and it couldn't find the location.

Why is there a significant permission bump with no explanation? Edit: Intrusive permissions have been removed. Pretty good app, but city does not always respond to complaints.

Edit: permission issue has been resolved, the app is very useful. I'm not updating until the permissions are fixed or justified. The app works good enough for me now.

I have made a few complaints using the app with pictures and every time my complaint was closed their response was "officers unable to respond due to heavy 911 call volume". WTF!? It's like the 48th precinct don't want to do their job.

Not enough categories... how about illegal driveways with signs waning vehicles will be towed? Some home owners are stealing from taxpayers.

Big help for alternate side parking.

Good app to know when parking and meter rules are in effect. But the Android notification is only one line that doesn't wrap so the messages get cut off. Would be nice if it could tell you the parking rules for your current location. For people giving the app bad reviews over noise complaints: that's not an app issue and Google Play is the wrong place to get it addressed. Try your city council member.

Tells you when they made repair (make that supposedly) and closed complaint. Doesn't allow reporting of all types of problems. Maps to where the problem is wants address even if it is a corner not a house address.

How about, adding a section on how to read & understand Street parking signs. Those darn signs are so damn confusing! (What's the difference between: Stopping, Standing & Parking??)

Having issues at the verification screen, No code loads. Any one else is having this issue.

"Due to an integration error, the City was not able to create your service request." This error occurs all the time and makes filling complaints impossible.

PLEASE FIX I CAN NOT PUT IN A complaint BECAUSE THE verification part doesn't work that the putting the letters in so please fix now

Great app

There glitches when submitting certain requests. Error messages pop up saying "network issue, resubmit or exit screen" When u resubmit, the message pops up again. My network connectivity is fine so it's not my phone. I had a similar situation couple of weeks ago and the message popped up. I exited the screen but the message went through. Please fix the bugs with this app.

For noise complaints this is just crap by the time cops show up 2 to sometimes 48 hrs later of course their not going to witness the issue. Unbelievable, must a joke.

Easy to use and send in requests... Saves about 25 minutes from a 311 call. Would be great if this was a more inclusive one stop city center, using ideas from other city 311 apps to improve transparency and contact with city government. Would be a 5 if was more comprehensive, but definitely a sturdy 4 how it stands now

When you want to make a complain and you ready to submit it, letter checker comes up and even if you enter letters correctly it gives you a message that you entered it incorrectly. I tried 20 times and gave up.

Easy, user friendly to contact and be informed on garbage pick up/cancellations, parking, schools closure. Just very useful tool living in NYC.
