About NPS Golden Gate

Well, it was interesting! I was most concerned with the map function. But the map covers only the GGNRA , so if the area is outside the boundaries, the coverage may NOT be anymore adequate than the map function on your cell phone! The names of trails not within the GGNRA may or may not appear. This app, while convenient, is NO replacement for a paper map! And is little better than Google Earth. For those interested in the various parts of the GGNRA, which stretches from Menlo Park to Tomales, the app offers various and sundry looks at the different attractions the park offers. But it is NO replacement for a paper map.
