Alerts too often. The same event will result in dozens of alerts. I already know about the thunderstorm, stop telling me. The app can get alerts for multiple locations, but I had to delete all my secondary locations because they notified too frequently. And now I'm considering turning off notifications entirely, which defeats the entire purpose of the app!

K70%
by K####:

This app could be very useful, except that it consistently sends multiple alerts, often a dozen or more within a short time. This excess makes the app ineffective, since at some point you just ignore it; or worse, turn it off to stop the endless deluge of redundant messages. I would like to have the access to the information, but I have had to remove the app.

This is ok but what I was really looking for is something that will make my phone go off when there's a severe weather alert in my area. This notifies me but it doesn't make any sound. I don't have the built in thing :/

K70%
by K####:

After a six month trial: This app consistently gives the fastest weather alerts; it even beats the local military base. I solved the redundant alerts issue by selecting one county location at a time. I just have to remember to manually update my location when traveling.

I downloaded this so I could stay up to date during the hurricane currently on its way to me. It alerts me every 5 minutes that there are warnings but when I open the app it says there are no warnings or watches, which is odd considering I'm literally under a hurricane right now. Could be great with some tweaks but as of now it's not useful.

The app kept breaking down, wouldn't let me submit info or photos because I didn't have "GPS info" (why would I?), wouldn't help me find a way to volunteer or find a shelter, just gave me a map. I expected better.

This app as much scary as the hurricane itself. It send alerts gazillion times even though many are exactly the same. Fix it please!

I like it so far. Would love to see the inclusion of earthquake, volcano, and tsunami information (evacuation routes) in a future update. Surprising lack of good apps for this stuff.

I was affected by Harvey and cannot get help on my application!!! I have called , I have e-mailed, I coul dnt get to work and my home was flooded. I can't even fill out the application!!!

Works fantastic. Alerts come in quicker than any other apps (without all the ads and other unnecessary forecast info) as well as alerts posted on the NWS website and local tv broadcasts. However, one annoying drawback that I hope is fixed soon, is no option to select what alerts you want to receive. Its super obnoxious to get notified constantly of warnings, watches, etc, being cancelled or ending especially if you have multiple counties selected. If this becomes an option, itll be the best weather/emergency alert app available if you're wanting just that and nothing else. I still give it 5 stars even though I've wanted to uninstall multiple times because it drives me crazy but it has potential.

Alert title pushed to me, I click on it, app opens, no alert info at all in app. Photo map doesn't display any photos just unclickable map pins. Worthless.

I seem to get a new notification of an alert every half hour or so, but when I click the notification, all I see are the previous alerts I've already seen. I click on the alerts page, and still I see the same previous alerts. Confused as to what's going on.

Locations need to be more granular than counties because something an hour away may not affect me. Also needs to follow my location in case I'm not in one of the five areas we can choose

App works well but drains battery FAST and eats data 24/7. I now install it when on home WiFi and weather is in the area. Uninstall it when the skies are clear.
