Taiwan Weather (remove on 5/1)

Was looking forward to an app to watch radar before scooter rides to and fro work. Got endless notifications even after turning them off. Uninstalled until they go beyond cha bu duo....

Difficult to touch Chiayi City for more information . If there were to be zoom in and zoom out functions, it would be better .

App still crashing! Get it fixed cos it's a great app!

I'm sure it's a fine weather app, but I'll bet most foreigners already have a weather app. I was hoping this would be good for typhoon alerts. While it provides a push notification, it just tells you to go to the webpage. And the link to the webpage isn't even clickable. So... you might as well just leave a tab open in your mobile browser.

App and widget keep crashing. Can't access settings or see forecasts. Even worse, no one seems to be fixing it. The CWB is the most accurate source of information about weather in Taiwan, and this is one of the few apps in English for those thousands of us living here who can't read Chinese. Unfortunately, the people at the CWB don't seem interested in updating or fixing the app or the widgets. Sadly, I've decided to uninstall it and rely on less effective apps or the CWB website instead. Disappointing.

Crashes all the time. Can't get into app unless I report the crash with my email and then I'd be able to open it. There after, it crashes and crashes again. Please fix.

It would be better if the back button on your phone returns you to your previous screen, rather than having to go back into the menu. Also, I can't see and pollution level indicators. This would be useful information. Especially in Taichung.

This is a good apps. Has all the info I need. However I think that in order to see my favourite location I need to keep pressing twice to go into the menu to select favourite is a bit stupid. Shouldn't a favourite icon (Maybe a Star) be placed outside for easy navigation? And it hasn't been updated since 2015 despite all the feedback....

I guess the Weather Bureau decided to save money by hiring some web designing hacks than spend a bit more to get a professional app done. It is better to go to the Taiwan Central Weather Bureau web page than this app.

Not sure from which update this has occurred from, but disabling notifications does not work. I still get sound alerts for weather warnings, etc. App overall could be a lot better.

Most of the time random crashes are coming, notification count is not decrease after read. And many more flaws

Running it on a Sony Z5, the damn thing keeps on crashing. Also it sends the same notification over and over again, spamming really...

When it gives u notifications about earthquakes it does not even tell how strong it was - about typhoon it tells go to the link to get more info BUT the link not clickable ... there is no need for an app if u anyway have to go to the web page to get proper infos ...

Very annoying. This could have been a great app if it had been properly designed. But full of annoying things like the back button on your phone exiting you from the entire app. The thing that made me uninstall it though, was that there are notifications several times a day that can never really be turned off. There are some great apps made by Taiwanese, but the ones done by government and large organisations are always useless.

The addition of the in-app maps is great! I use this all the time to keep up with what is going on in Taiwan and I love it.

Good app with a lot of information. Nice to have weather warnings. Great the app is in English. Improvements should look into. Can't find my location. Kenting is out of Taiwan? Didn't know that. Would be good to be able the set up your home location as reference not Taipei as reference. Settings could be maybe on/off not open/close, translate issue.

Most of the buttons in the app don't work and when one does work you get trapped because the hardware back button is not supported.

Endless notifications for Typhoons and rain for each affected region, creates many duplicates. Upon clicking said notifications, you enter the app on the launch screen, not the notification screen. Then must tap twice more and dig through the app notification list. From there, a non-clickable link says "see website " and lists the default website address, without a specific link - so you have to go through the process all over again in a mobile browser. Beyond the notification problems, the app itself tries to imitate the website, but again, provides non-clickable links for anything of substance. Not an improvement over Google Now, and oddly less accurate. English only (place names problematic) - with a number of bad translations. Poor layout, distorted text size and borders on my Sony Z2.

Great app and thanks for also doing it in English, but I keep on receiving duplicated notifications about warnings. Please fix this. I am running CM12 on a note 2 and this is not my only device it is happening on. Will get a higher rating if it is fixed.

No problems with it so far and a lot better than I expected. Lots of info and the warnings are pretty nice to have. Thanks for having this in English.

often no information displayed for now, forecast, chart. maps showed up though. cant choose some places ; i.e. sizihwan. too many alerts, and incorrect alerts such as heavy rain when clear weather. need to allow specific selection of alerts and increase time interval such as 1hr, 4hr, etc

Crashes without so much as spitting out the temperature. I realize it's V1.0, but did you even beta test?
