Arrival - an app to make your life easy

Imagine you are a new student joining a university away from home. You are in complete darkness what the place or people are gonna be like.

Well.. U need not worry anymore. Our app solves the 2 main problems students face as new comers to any university.

Namely, finding compatible roommates and finding companions while arriving to the university.

Using our app is simple.

You can fill in some of your basic information to register. Then you can log in with your newly created username and password. Once logged in you need not log in once again. Our app remembers your identity.

As soon as you log in you will find a list of all the students seeking roommates in your university. You can set your preferences by clicking the option at the top right corner. Once you adjust your preference the suggestions will be reordered to list those students matching your preferences to be on top and the rest at the bottom.

Then you can enter your flight details by clicking on the ‘Add Flight Info’ button in the drawer layout. Once entered you can click on flight updates on Drawer activity to see which of your college-mates are arriving at the same flight at the same time.

In the roommate suggestion feature, in case you wish to know more about the suggested students you could just click on the details button. If you wish to message the student you could just click on the “send message” button.
