After the new android update application crushes every time when I try to swap languages, change selected languages or do anything else. I cant believe that google didnt found this bug for more than one month. It is preety annoying. I can provide you more information if needed. Phone: SM-G950S, Android: 7.0

Previously it used translate everything on screen when some apps do not support copy paste options. There are many apps in play store where they will in different language alone. Fix this . previously translate used appear along with assistant and it translates everything on screen. Don't you think before app update? You should include more functionality instead you are killing the existing ones and saying it innovative..

I have downloaded offline translation files, and none of them works, still unavailable if i go offline, defeating the purpose of this function. This app is not suited to be called a "translate" app. Translating from Japanese, often wont offer right kanji from hiragana input, transliteration is wrong, translation is wrong and weird, drawing kanji I have to do it lightning fast or the drawing space automatically moves to the left. That really sucks. Cannot use this for studying because I dont trust this app for it's frequent mistakes and I just end up wasting a ton of time. P.S. It also needed 250Mb space to update.. 0 stars.

With this app, you can translate from English text to Arabic but unfortunately you can't translate from Arabic text into English!?! It's a bit BIAS!! I have been using this app for over 3 months now and, I have updated it at least once a month but still have not received an update that can help me

At first glance I was excited about what I read thinking I would be able use it for my upcoming trip to Ecuador. Everything worked as expected until I went offline and then the nightmare started. At the end of the day it appears that voice to voice does not work offline even after making the tweeks(not in instructions)suggested by users after experiencing the same issue. Uninstalled and am using another app.

It's great to learn how to pronounce English words, but some translations aren't accurate and are misleading. For example: The word 'connive;' this word isn't a verb in Spanish and it doesn't conjugate. There for the translation for that word in Google Translate is incorrect. Something similar happens with word the word 'estuviera.' I know, it doesn't have to be perfect. ????

The app translated just now "what I like the least" as "what I like the best" (eu mais gosto instead of eu menos gosto - Portuguese). The original sentence was "Apples and bananas are the fruits that I like the least". That is really bad!

Downloading offline languages still doesn't download over unlimited 4G LTE mobile data. Google what's the problem you can't get this thing to work right after all these updates? Maybe you should hire some people from Microsoft to help you out with this because there's download no problem over 4G LTE unlimited data connection.

Amazing app but just one problem. During active image translation it somehow immediately drains all my phone charge in seconds and shuts my phone off. The last one I went from 50% to 1% charge. I have no idea how this is possible but it only happens with this app.

Worthless. I tried translating through camera. Was trying to translate from chinese (on my printer) to English as I wanted to change printer language to English.

The input field is so difficult to work with. It basically only allows for copying and pasting. Trying out different variations is very difficult

I had downloaded hindi offline for translate without a net connection but Offline download doesn't exist.. it's showing "check SD card inserted or not" and when I checked it's showing 23 MB files already there existing. Interestingly won't translate even with net connection. Don't understand what the hell is going on......

The offline translations files were downloaded but unable to install. After many tries, found a method to get it working. Delete the APP, RESTART the phone, then reinstall the APP. Hope it works for the rest having this problem.

Actually the translate balloon after copying the text.. does not come up all the time.. Sometimes it does not come up.. So then I have to go to translate app and then input it. It is not very fast

This is the worst app I've ever used. It translates English into English even I've set the settings to translate sentences from english to Hindi. Thus app is totally useless. It must need an update or it should be erased from play store.

Best app from your side but what about offline? Only major language are worked in offline please make remaining languages can also will be work in offline.i want telugu language because I'm from India. Need more improvement in my language.

It's good and when I want to translate it I just go there but at the same time if I put an error in a word I tells me to type what ever put in And its really annoying

Some how u messed it up... No more point & translate, more complicated & don't work.

Works pretty well with my russian-speaking daughter, the new update sucks though because the language selection is right next to the speak button so you accidentally change the language frequently

It's an awesome app, I use it to chat with my friends all over the world without even stressing my self on how to reply them in another language. Great!

It was spying and documenting my personal telephone messages. I'm shocked. Of course I got rid of it. It's junk. Never again. It never works right.

The program is very good but there is one problem from my point of view that it does not convert images from Arabic to English and this is the most important problem in most programs unfortunately

With offline Urdu available it has become really great app. But if a translation is not available, we can't contribute/ suggest an edit from the app like we can from desktop.

The offline translation doesn't work anymore, although I've downloaded the languages data from offline settings !! FIX IT, PLEASE

Lacking spoken Estonian. Website does this, so wondering why the app is so far behind. 3 ???? until that is fixed ????

At least after i have downloaded this app i should use it without internet it is the same thing i was using it on internet and after downloading the app is the same thing so no one download it

Big disappointment.. cant translate Portuguese even close to correct, and is soo slow even on wifi to start a conversation.. really disappointed..

I think it needed Mandarian, but overall it was fantastic. It helped me with learning a few things on other languages and it's nice that you can copy and paste it so you don't have to type it ????

Unable to change voice. Settings links have changed. Microsoft translator works way better

General usability and translation are good. But no masculine or feminine makes its a bit pointless for many languages.

Its quality has declined, especially real time visual translation. Now it requires highlighting text and it fails to work 50% of the time. A definite downgrade.
