Tea Timer

This app single handedly upgraded my tea making skills from "Sloppy" to "OCD Perfectionist"! The only minor complaint I have is the tea pot. It looks nothing like the one I have.

This application could not deserve other than five stars. It is better build than many other stop watch applications. In fact, I now use it to many other things than tea and in this case, I'm really happy to be able to change the picture to the green circle. Thanks!!

The app is lightweight and is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. Bonus for being open-source. Maybe there is a way to make presets menu more intuitive, add possibility to edit presets?

The Big Ben chimes are very nice, and I love that I don't need to interact with my phone after it rings and that it also doesn't completely stop whatever I'm listening to on my phone. Very nice!

Small, does what it says, and doesn't request access to ANYTHING. Great app.

I make a cup of tea everyday and this app is perfect for it. Its super lightweight and loads up quick. When the timer finishes, it gives two short vibrations and turns my phone's indicator light on to red (the default timer app shouts at you till you attend to it). And the last thing I love is that it warns me when my phone is set to silent before I start each timer. Honestly didn't know I could like such a simple app so much.

This app is perfect because it is a timer that allows you to create a list of your own presets. Teas from different sources all brew differently, even if they're the same variety, different brew methods or implements produce different results, and on top of it all, everyone has their own tastes. This app doesn't assume anything about the needs of your tea or taste and let's you save what you've learned works, and that makes it perfect for brewing a perfect cup of tea!

Does what it says on the tin. No extra crap about different kinds of tea, just the timer and a pretty little noise when it's done.

It's been on my phones since 2011. Regardless of the name, I use it every day when I need to time something. In the grand tradition of the simple tool that does one thing well.

A nice, simple, and lovely app for timing your steeps. Make sure to specify your own presets for your favourite cuppa.

Simple and elegant. Some presets are given but can be readily added to. Not properly able to preview notification tones but this isn't a big deal.

I'm very happy to see the presets! I think this app is exactly what I was looking for now. A simple timer that I can just choose what tea preset I want. it doesn't need any crazy permissions. 5 stars.

I mean, there's not much to say. It does what a timer should do. It really does what your stock timer probably already does. But I don't care. It does its job well, and that's what's important!

I'd probably miss a few presets. Absolutely +1 for not requiring additional permissions. Gets the job done

Simple and works well!

A shame that this update basically removed the charm and usability of the old interface and replaced it with a generic number readout that I can get with any number of applications. Very disappointed with this turn of events.

Please. Used this app for yrs. Bring back the old style, or give us the option to use either style. May look for a new one closer to the old style. Not liking the update at all. If it's not broke, don't fix it

The refreshed interface is quite nice and I'm glad it maintains the app's simplicity. However, after pressing Start, the two buttons underneath the timer are blank on my phone. Hope this gets addressed. Thanks for the update :)

This one is nothing more than a timer that does not work. I am deleting it.

The new update constantly stops working (with an error message) and NO MORE TEAPOT.

I use it for cooking, workouts, coloring my hair - everything! Thank you for a simple app with no hidden catches!

Great timer app. NOT just for tea. Use it almost every day.

When I took OChem, I tried several timer apps during lab experiments. This one was the simplest to set and use. Since it only chimes once I didn't have to worry about rushing to the phone to turn off the alarm. The pleasant tone was a nice change from the jarring alarm-type sounds other timers had.

The sound notifications did not work properly when the screen was off. would be helpful to be able to enter in the time manually rather than scroll

I've been using this timer through two phone upgrades and it is my first download. Simple and perfect.
