Gnosis

Gnosis significa conocimiento, sabiduría.

La Gnosis es el conocimiento de una sabiduría trascendental y transformativa que enseña a la humanidad a ver, oír, y palpar todas las cosas que hasta el momento señalaban como grandes misterios y enigmas.
La gnosis es una verdadera escuela científica de iniciación en la vida, que persigue una transformación del ser humano, pretende que cada hombre cambie desde sus principios básicos y costumbres que se convierta en verdadero hombre.

La gnosis en si pretende que cada hombre tenga un espíritu vasto y lúcido que intente establecer un nuevo orden racional y científico en las costumbres generales del vivir, inspirándose en las leyes inmutables de la naturaleza.

Historia del Gnosticismo
La lengua griega hace una distinción entre el conocimiento gnóstico ( γνωσις ) y el conocimiento racional ( πιστήμη ) o proveniente del intelecto, como por ejemplo: el conocimiento sobre matemáticas, el conocimiento sobre historia, etc.
Debido a que el significado de gnosis es el de un profundo proceso de reconocimiento íntimo y natural, que el individuo puede realizar. Una experiencia directa de nuestro Real Ser Interior.
Conocernos a nosotros mismos, a nuestro Real Ser, conduce a comprender el verdadero significado de esta existencia en la cual estamos inmersos.

Una antigua máxima griega dice: "Hombre, conócete a ti mismo y conocerás al Universo y a los Dioses". Estas palabras sintetizan la consigna esencial del gnosticismo, ya que conocer al Real Ser es sinónimo de conocer a Dios en nosotros.

Existe una gran diversidad de doctrinas filosóficas y teológicas que hacen mención a la gnosis. La clasificación más común de encontrar, es la de un gnosticismo pre-cristiano con orígenes principalmente en Grecia y oriente; y un gnosticismo cristiano, en el cual se vincularon distintas doctrinas gnósticas ya existentes, con las enseñanzas de Jesús de Nazareth.
El filósofo gnóstico de aquel entonces, que por algún medio estableció contacto con el mensaje cristiano, reconoció en éste el mismo cuerpo de doctrina en el cual basaba su criterio.
En la segunda mitad del siglo XIX aparecieron diferentes tesis sobre el gnosticismo que coincidieron en demostrar que sus orígenes no debían ser buscados exclusivamente en el cristianismo. Para ese entonces, ya los estudiosos distinguían principios de la doctrina gnóstica en el judaísmo, el helenismo, el politeísmo egipcio, y en múltiples doctrinas místicas de oriente.

A partir de mediados del siglo XX fueron hallados una serie de textos gnósticos escritos durante los primeros siglos de nuestra era, a través de los cuales se pudo conocer en mayor profundidad los basamentos del gnosticismo, sobre todo el cristiano. Paradójicamente, antes de producirse estos hallazgos, el gnosticismo era conocido principalmente gracias a los escritos en su contra por parte de sus oponentes, como Irineo (180 d.C.), Hipólito (225 d.C.) o Tertuliano (200 d.C.). La mayoría de los documentos gnósticos habían sido destruidos por el cristianismo ortodoxo.
Se contaba con textos como el "Corpus Herméticum" atribuído a Hermes Trismegisto, de contenido gnóstico pero no cristiano; el "Sintagma" de Justino; u otros hallados a partir de fines del siglo XVIII como el "Pistis Sofía", ya de temática cristiana.

En diciembre de 1945, pocos meses después del final de la segunda guerra mundial, unos campesinos árabes buscando fertilizantes para sus cultivos, cavaron cerca de su pueblo (Nag Hammadi, Egipto) a orillas del río Nilo, dando en forma accidental con una vasija de cerámica roja de unos 60 cm de altura, por 30 cm en su parte central. Al romperla encontraron en su interior una vieja colección de trece papiros antiguos o códices encuadernados en cuero. El hallazgo se trataba de lo que posteriormente sería conocido como Biblioteca de Nag Hammadi. Gnosis means knowledge, wisdom.

Gnosis is the knowledge of a transcendental and transformative wisdom which teaches humanity to see, hear, and feel all that far pointed as great mysteries and enigmas.
Gnosis is a true scientific school of initiation in life, pursuing a transformation of the human being, each man seeks change from first principles and customs to become true man.

Gnosis itself claims that every man has a vast and lucid spirit attempting to establish a new rational and scientific order to the general habits of life, inspired by the immutable laws of nature.

History of Gnosticism
The Greek language distinguishes between the gnostic knowledge (γνωσις) and rational knowledge (πιστήμη) or from the intellect, such as: knowledge about math, knowledge of history, etc.
Because the meaning of gnosis is that of a profound process of intimate and natural recognition that the individual can perform. A direct experience of our Real Inner Being.
Know ourselves, to our Real Self, it leads to understand the true meaning of this existence in which we are immersed.

An ancient Greek maxim says: "Man, know thyself and know the Universe and the Gods." These words sum up the essential slogan of Gnosticism, because knowing the Real Self is synonymous to know God in us.

There is a wide variety of philosophical and theological doctrines that make mention of the gnosis. The most common classification of finding, is that of a pre-Christian Gnosticism with origins mainly in Greece and east; and a Christian Gnosticism, in which various existing Gnostic doctrines were linked with the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
The Gnostic philosopher then, that by some means established contact with the Christian message, he recognized the same body of doctrine which based its judgment.
In the second half of the nineteenth century were different thesis about gnosticism coincided in showing that its origins should not be sought only in Christianity. By then, scholars and distinguished early Gnostic doctrine in Judaism, Hellenism, the Egyptian polytheism, and multiple mystical doctrines of the East.

From the mid-twentieth century they were found a number of Gnostic texts written during the first centuries of our era, through which it was known in greater depth the foundations of Gnosticism, especially the Christian. Paradoxically, before these findings occur, Gnosticism was mainly known through the writings against him by his opponents, as Irenaeus (AD 180), Hippolytus (225 AD) and Tertullian (200 AD). Most Gnostic documents had been destroyed by orthodox Christianity.
We had text as the "Corpus Hermeticum" attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, but Gnostic Christian content; The "Syntagma" of Justin; or other found from the late eighteenth century as the "Pistis Sophia" and Christian-themed.

In December 1945, a few months after the end of World War II, some Arab peasants looking for fertilizer for their crops, dug near his village (Nag Hammadi, Egypt) on the banks of the Nile River, accidentally giving a vessel red ceramic about 60 cm high, 30 cm in the center. To break found inside an old collection of thirteen ancient papyrus or leather-bound codices. The finding was what later became known as Nag Hammadi Library.
