Notepad+

Hi, this is the best txt editor for text, code etc on android. Please also add a feature for READER MODE: so keyboard does not come up when pressing text screen. I swipe up for next page to read long txt files & keyboard often comes up. Then it becomes the best txt reader. I have set to black background for reading in bed. If you can add the READER Mode switch to first button toolbar, it will be even better. Thanks.

But when I tried to find and replace something with a really long string, the OK button went offscreen and disappeared. Last update was in 2011, so I suppose this won't get fixed...

Doesn't work on Samsung J7

Needs menu independent of device. My new phone doesnt have menu button. So I see no way to save file. Worked well on older phone and tablet. Leaving 5 stars since it does work well on older devices.

Can create/edit/delete notes like one would expect from the name.

Unable to save files in Lollipop version. I have sent the mail too till now i dint get any confirmation will u please fix this bug.

This is one of those rare simple text apps that recognizes and allows you to set encoding parameters. So that when you open your notes on a computer, it doesn't look like a wall of text without breaks, spaces or paragraphs.

This totally sucked! I tried to write something for DeviantART and it wouldnt save. Whatever you do dont install it.

Don't download it does not work it doesn't even save your notes at all so son,t download

Able to save using menu button ~on phone. However on tablet, menu button disappears when in portrait view.

Wonderful, if you can do more work on interface, it will be much better, like recent file and auto encoding

I'm beginning to wonder if the developer fell off the face of the earth you really need to update this application to keep up with the basic guidelines of Android that are out today as this is the only notepad that I have found that lets you save the file as a text file just like you would on Windows that's the whole reason why I use it so that I can go back & 4th PC2PHONE!!!!!
