It is very easy to add a new expense and connect it to a category. When you start the app for the first time it will give you some default categories, but you may choose to delete and create you own personal categories.
The app will give you the amount of money spent for each category as well as the total expense per month.
You can easy swipe with your finger, right or left on the screen, to browse to previous months.
