EntertainMe Smart API

The app recommends to users interesting activities to do and places to visit. The app uses information about the user’s context( e.g. location, time of day, Facebook Likes) in order to find personalized results. The information of activities and places are taken from Foursquare API. In addition, the app will be built upon an open source, Terrier search engine platform developed by University of Glasgow, as well as the SMART project. The app makes use of mapping interfaces and other mash-ups to visualize the recommended places and their rankings.
