Thermal Camera+ for FLIR One

June 22, 2017. Definitely a good app, with some wrinkles. Many positive points like image quality, the gamut scale, movable pointer with clear reading, well designed controls, compatibility with FLIR Tools, and saving files in different formats. It is a stable app. But... First of all, it shows notably different temperatures on different devices (about 5 degrees Celsius difference between my Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy Tab S). Landscape mode ( or autorotate) is inexistent, the same with video and the useful time lapse. Real color image is very tilted, actually worthless, on the Nexus 6P.

on my cat s60 this app is undoubtedly superior to the stock app. the image clarity is noticeably better. Also, when the phone is in motion the image seems smoother and more forgiving than the stock app which gets a bit jumpy unless i pan slowly. i would definitely recommend giving this app a try if you're using it with Cat S60 phone.

So far, the only app that works with my flir one pro for android as of 7.20.2017. Can't take pictures, and haven't tried all the options, but it does work. Thanks for saving the day.

This is so much better than the stock app. I have a CAT S60 and before I got this app I was disappointed with the FLIR, but this app makes it much easier to use and it doesn't have the video lag that the stock app has.

First time everytime you try and start the app it crashes on the S60. Then on the second time its fine. Seems laggy compared to stock FLIR app.

An excellent alternative for Cat S60 owners, it is a more powerful app with several useful options not found in MyFLIR. No ugly watermarking of images, either.

Huge Upgrade from stock Cat s60. Great Job!!!!! Would like to see a full screen version tho.

Needs the following please: Video recording. Timelapse capability Floating hottest or coldest pointer. But otherwise great thanks

Best app for flir one and works even with honor8 and flir one in otg supported microusb to usb-c adapter!

App crashes on Google pixel.

Installed it on my Cat S60 several months ago, works great, never used the stock app again.

100% would recommend anyone with FLIR to make this their default app. Truly is the most superior FLIR app available.

Used on forest fire, very useful

Has all sorts of awesome functionality and allows tinkering with the technical aspects of the Flir One. Make sure you read the manual, as there's a lot of hidden functionality. Surprisingly easy to use, though--everything is just a tap or two away. Would love to see video and timelapse support at some point; then it'd be a complete replacement for Flir's app.

Bought to fix Flir One program but with current build it keeps crashing on my s7 active. Need to get this fixed ASAP or I have a $200 worthless piece of equipment.

Very good! This adds several useful features over the official app, like the original thermal image and improved quality. Well worth the bucks. One feature is missing however: is there a way to have video recording? Thanks!

Nice app but I feel a lot of screen real estate is taken up by the camera etc icons at the bottom of the screen. The developer could easily redesign them to use half the space leaving more for the thermal image.

Way better than the native flir app tha came on the cat s60. Worth every penny.

This works as expected on the crappy moto G series 3. As others have noted, the addition of video would be excellent. Also is it possible to change from internal to an external source to save data? Finally, is it possible to take images on a timer, say every five seconds? This would provide a nudge towards a video feed if it cannot be easily implemented within the SDK. I will have to have a delve into the SDK myself. Thanks again.

This app is simply the best one for FLIR ONE. It got high res image and live max min temp. Please, add more feature like 2nd, 3rd or more thermal spot and also graphical statistics for the spot. And also capability for video is also important. Thanks.

Outstanding app. The official app is an embarrassment compared to this. Also requires no login, and allows access to media while offline. Thanks for such good work. Bought the paid version right away.

This app is great for the FLIR One. It improves the thermal image clarity for a smoother looking picture/image. It has more color pallets as well. $2.99 well spent and the software is stable on Samsung GS7 (for as long as I have been using it so far).Keep the updates coming, video would be an awesome addition.

Great app. Better than the native Flir One app. It works beautifully with my Samsung Galaxy S6. Highly recommended ! A few additional requests for product enhancement: 1. Video mode 2. Timelapse mode One question- how do I ensure that the gallery function uses the Flir Tools Gallery and not the built-in gallery ? I see your screenshots have the Flir Tools Gallery.

Following all directions, app starts for a second then freezes, restarting the flir camera takes you back to the connect camera and turn it on. Endless inoperable circle, please fix this app.

Endless loop of open app - connect device - app crashes. And yes I checked permissions and uninstalled the official app.

Wonderful app, does great work, plus version worth it 100 times. Video would be nice though.

An excellent application. Provides much better camera function support than Flir's app. Well worth the money.

Both flir apps are garbage .. wont start or when it does it runs and turns off seconds later.. want a refund.....

Better than the original Flir One app with one exception. There is no way to record video in this app. Add that and it is everything you could want.

Can't open/edit images when camera isn't attached. Otherwise I may have rated higher.

Much better than the native software on the Cat S60 (which always under reads by 4 degrees C!) Like the calibration functions, temperature readings are more accurate all seems to work well, except the ordinary image which is diagonally skewed and unusable. Odd because it works perfectly in MSX mode. Tried restarting the device but no change. What's all that about?

Great work...maybe an option to turn off the temperature scale for when you want to do thermalphotography. That way I won't have to crop it out.

Wonderfully intuitive app for the FLIR one. Works well with the Nexus 6p, though the camera needs to be connected via a micro to C type USB adaptor making it more vulnerable to knocks. Great work Georg!
