Music School:Interval & chords for Android
I guess this app is focused on helping the user to memorise the intervals not to write them on the staff. All the M/m thirds and the fifths could be a pain in the ass when it comes about memorising. This app actually helped me a lot! Keep up the good work here!
I'm a guitar player. Like someone said it doesn't show you the music staff which is fine with me. I don't need to know that. But I should know the minor 7th A is G. This will teach you that.
I've only just started and I like the system a lot. One thing that would make it Much better would be an option for the notes to play when you press them. Trying to learn chords without being able to hear the notes seems like a rather serious flaw in the method.
those of you complaining and leaving bad reviews for no sound are ridiculous. This app explains intervals in detail, if you want sound practice on your instrument.
Great tool. You can easily find online shortcuts to come up with chords. This app instead easily teaches you how to obtain any chord providing an understanding of music theory. Excellent job guys.
This really helps me with memorising the notes on each chord. Would be nice if you add some more, like unusual chords in jazz and blues.
Easy understandable UI tons of exercises to prepare you for the next rounds! And so far, no in app purchases! Great memory tool! Especially for guitar theory!
Level 17 accidentals are incorrect, please have it changed.
great, simple app for practicing intervals. like others have noted, it would be great to have the option to play the notes on a successful completion to incorporate some ear training.
Didn't think much of this app until I started memorizing the notes. I'm hooked. Great tool, needs sound for a 5 star rating.
Covers all the major, minor and 7th chords. I used it in combination with the other apps for learning rhythm and musical notation.
Thanks for this app, you have really help me
Love the way you can practice wit this app and the fact tha has also do re mi notation
Great gamefied teaching tool for memorizing note intervals and chord tones for a wide range of chords.
This app has all the lessons from the basics step by step which is really good
Good tool for strictly learning theory, but you can't hear the notes when you press them.
Great way to learn theory.
Lots simpler than flash cards.
Wonderful I love this programme
One of the best interval teaching app
Thank you
I really love the written notes to explain in words for a perfect understanding. But what pushes me off is the fact that, the symbol notes on the staff should should have been displayed in a corresponding linkage to identify what is shown on the staff. For example, if you talk about C.E.G as first chored of C Major, the notes should be identified on the staff as such. And the stave lines are also four not even five why?
Would the author of app make a change to delay the last successful note picked -- to display it for one to two seconds more? I think that would be a helpful re-enforcement for learning.

With a only a little direction from a tutor, this could really help students with some basic chord and interval concepts. Not a bad way to pass a little time, either. Suggestions: sounds are really important! Key selection would be nice, too, and a notation only mode as an optional alternative to chord symbols and interval names would add another useful dimension altogether. Thanks for a great app.
This app is very good,it has really help me to understand some diffficulties have been facing 11 years ago that I was taught theory of music
Teaches you theory from the beginning and progresses in a unique way that is really good for starters. If anyone I am teaching is interested in learning the theory behind the chords they play I will definitely augment my lessons with this app
Just one, one day of using this app! Next day I saw significant improvements in my knowledge!( It helps a lot if you say note's names while playing). When I got to my guitar I wanted to improvise on some chords and I instantly knew what notes chords had! Thank you!
Excellent program, as a guitarist I tend to think of chords as shapes, I'm starting to see the names of the notes now after only using this for a few days.
This is the best theory-based app I've used personally up to this point. Sound would help, but it gets the concepts across very well.
Could you please also add "ordinary" piano keys with or without the note names on them (if there can be an option it would be awesome) so that noobs like me can get used to them? Thanks!!
It's very helpful, but could use atleast piano sounds.(It would help even more)
An app for learning cords and intervals without sound is completely useless. No more to say about it.
Useful so far. Really enjoy how many levels there are. Not much diversity in the style, but plenty of knowledge. I hope they continue to update the amount of levels
I like this app a lot. It provides a quick and easy way to learn the building blocks of musical composition. Sounds would help exponentially. As an accompaniment, I use a separate keyboard app and play along.
There is no sound. I can't learn cords without sound.
Will It include sounds in the future? What about altered pitchs?
Спасибо за прекрасную прогу!! То, что мне не смог дать ни один самоучитель - понимание интервалов и построение аккордов. Конечно со звуком было бы веселее, но всё равно 5! Маст хэв всем начинающим музыкантам.
A wonderful application that helps with theory through recall and repetition. I think it's great!!!

I have been using this app for quite a while now and I am at a point to where I have basically memorized everything, I almost don't need it besides getting maybe faster, maybe add some more complex chords dim Aug sus ext. ?and maybe a way of memorizing the 2eds and relative minors to give a more complete scale?also maybe the subdom par, Dom par, subdom, Dom, tonicpar and incomplete Dom 7th for every chord. Awesome work on this!
