Audio Speed Changer

I love everything about the app. Two things to make this even better. When you have a Start and End point and you let it loop, how about letting the audio fade in and out for a smoother transition? Lastly, in addition to the percentage reading of the audio speed, how about BPM? But overall, great App! Good App to use for dance classes when speeding the tempo down during rehearsals.

This app is amazing! I've been trying to find a way to play songs at a slower speed so I can learn them on drums. This is the answer! Would have five stars, but there is a slight "doubling" sound due to the pitch corrector that could be fixed. Pending that, it would get 5 stars no problem. Either way, I will definitely be using it daily to practice new songs I'm learning. Will probably purchase the Pro version too when I have the spare cash. Us musicians pay for good work when we can, LIKE EVERYONE SHOULD! lol

Good / Bom. Needs to act as default player / Precisa ser tocador padrão... ... [EN] Good app, nice tools and interface, works fine. BUT, it can't be selected as the default app to open audio (MP3). I want to open podcasts from within JustReader in this app, so I can slow down the speed. But this app doesn't appear in the list. Plus, it lacks ffwd/rew buttons. Developer doesn't reply to e-mail, and website takes to nowhere. [PT] Bom, bonito, funcional. MAS não funciona como tocador padrão. Eu gostaria de abrir podcasts (MP3) de dentro do Just Reader, mas este app não aparece na lista de aplicativos de áudio. Ademais, não contém botões para avançar ou retroceder o áudio. I love this app! I am an experienced guitar player, and for years I have wanted an affordable way of slowing a song down to break apart those lightning fast metal riffs. This app really delivers. Great idea and great execution!

App works great. Slows entire song file not just a portion of song. Still sounds good at 50% speed. Been playing for over 30 years, used to use cassette tapes to do this. Great for beginners or advanced players. Still can't believe its a free app. Great job!

It's all you could want for this type of application. It's great that you can go into folders and music libraries, play any MP3, slow the speed for transcribing purposes, move the position to replay any part, get A-B segments repeated, and so forth. Most of all, it works perfectly. Aside from all of the above, when you slow the speed down the voice still sounds the same. I tried the free version and bought the Pro version almost immediately, as soon as I realized how good this application is.

Bought pro version a couple years ago, used to be a good app as long as you did not require any dev. support or had frequent web acces (as it kept going back to regular due to too frequent license verification fails). Development stopped since jan. 2012. Does not work with recent android versions and recently the pro version was removed from the store, with no option to get a refund. Don't waste time or money, if you need playback speed control try instead audipo, jetaudio, maple player, among others.

It's unfortunate that this app only recognises mp3s. Until it lets me work with ogg vorbis q2 files, lets me shift pitch and properly formats for the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Player 4, I can give it only 3 stars.

I used this app daily for a long time and really enjoyed it. and I still have it on the same phone so I know the issue is not hardware. but I think it probably stopped working when my phone upgraded to a higher OS update. Maybe Kit Kat. hope he gets it sorted out soon.

This is a great app, used to use it all the time. Been using it with my Samsung Galaxy S4 since November with no problems. But since yesterday, every time I try to open the app, it immediately closes. Can't do anything. I tried clearing the data, also uninstall + re-install, restarting my phone, and still nothing. Please fix it. :(

The developer hasn't updated this app in a long time. The app is great at what it does. However, it crashes when loading a file or folder full of mp3s. Sometimes, it will fail to load any mp3 files at all. In this case, un installing them reinstalling fixes it. Samsung gs3 4. 1.1 and 4.1.2.

This was an excellent program. I used it for me and my band. I was able to transpose any song in any key and save it and send the new key to band members. Ever since the update I've lost the pro version that I paid for it and cannot open the app anymore. Would be 5 stars until you fix the problem!

Wish there was a way to zoom in on the waveform like you can in Audacity. It would make setting start/stop times much easier especially with smart phones with really sensitive screens. Way above average app for the price, I like it!

I echo the other reviews here. I paid for the PRO version of the app, but I cannot use this app at all now. I just upgraded to Nexus 5 from my S3 and the app just keeps crashing. On top of it, the PRO version is no longer available and the developer's website is non-functional. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a paid app!

I just tried a couple other "slow downers" , this one is so nice, I can load up a book in a folder and select it, and this thing converts it, and allows me start listening immediately... while it's processing all the other files. The UI is Awesome, compared to the other apps. Thank You!

Would like ability to finger zoom on the waveform. And also an option to not keep the screen on all the time by default. Sometimes once a speed is set, you don't need to see screen and use battery. Great slick functionality though!

When the speed is high the voices in the song are squeaking. After speed change in this program you can't hear it... I don't need this app if it is only for tempo changing. I can do it in Music Player on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 without using this app. I need SPEED changer.

Unbelievable the lack of support from the maker of this app. I purchased the Pro version which disappeared from my Samsung S4 and now not even the free version opens. And I haven't received reply to my emails reporting the problem! I also see that more and more users are reporting the same issues I have with the app but Google doesn't seem to understand how critical public opinion is for their business.

Used to work in my Samsung galaxy pop. Now whenever I install it in some newer phones it flashes and then crashes. It's certain that the developer team no longer exists or they are least bothered to fix the bugs. It was the best of the lot, speed could be changed in decimals, say 99.5%, 102.5% etc. No other speed changer has this unique feature I think. Now its no more. Sigh!!! RIP!!!

What happened? I used the pitch change option more than anything else. It was very useful for transposition when you play in a cover band. No one wants to retune all the time!!!! Bring back the paid version...that I spent good money on

Paid for Pro version before my phone crashed... used it alot... WAS a great app but I had to load it again... now I can't even open up the free version to use it... What's going on guys? Please fix and please give me back my pro... I paid for it...

I purchased the Pro Version for my S3 and ran flawlessly on 4.4.2. The USB port was damaged so I upgraded to an S5. Then found out Pro version is no longer available. This version hardly runs with limited features. Solution:  salvage Pro apk from old S3.  The software was protected, so I rooted the S3 and was able to create a backup apk file. Installed on my S5 and am back in business. 

This app used to work decently for my iPhone 4 but now I just got a Samsung galaxy note 4 and it wont even open up the main menu. This is absolute ludicrous. ASC you really screwed it up on a business perspective. I hope to god that you guys fix this otherwise I'm just going to try and find other softwares to use. Good luck...

i paid for ASC Pro. i've been cheated. this won't even start on my phone. i don't care now... too late... suck up your bad tatinhs & fail. other apps do sa,e function fine. ESAD plz.

Good when it works. Crashes too frequently. Crashes at start up & when it tries to load waveform, crashes trying to browse to MP3 or folder; "Sorry! Activity Choose Audio (in application Audio Speed Changer) is not responding. /Force close/Wait." Crashes while selecting 'Load Folder' or 'Load Song.' This would be worth registering if wasn't so unstable. Cumulatively, wasted several days and hours attempting to get a multi-file 40-hour business audiobook series loaded and played through to end. Failed. Maybe eliminate the waveform. Is unstable and unnecessary feature. A simple seek bar that does not need demanding resources of a visual waveform is fine. Only two features I wanted were ability to playback an entire folder and ability to do so at 2x or 3x speed. Get rid of the stuff that crashes would make this better app. FYI: first tested LG VM670 with 16gb SD. Crashed no matter if installed to phone or moved to SD :/ Crashed less frequently on Samsung S3. Still crashes too frequently for use. No longer worth the time investment since found Audipo:Audio Speed Changer. Really wanted to like this app. Was first with features i wanted :(

I cannot find the pro version on android market. How can I buy a audio speed changer pro version?

Use to be great when I had my Evo and this phone but since Samsung S4 update it flashes and doesn't even open to get to main menu to report. Loved it then now I don't, Wish it worked. Still crashes uninstalled :(

bummer pro version is gone. had paid pro version on S3, and used almost daily. one of best apps i've ever downloaded. now pro version is gone, and free version doesn't work on my crashes everytime i open it. (for those of you that purchased pro version, there are apks of it on web you can install, but only seem to work if you had already purchased the pro version. i could not get it work with lollipop, but working flawlessly with kitkat.)

Downloaded it and it wouldn't even open on my Galaxy S6. I purchased ASC pro a couple years ago for a couple dollars and it worked perfectly fine. I'm trying to find that app to repurchase it.

Everytime I make an attempt to open up, it crashes and i can't even use it. Could possibly be a great app, but until I'm able to open it, I will never know.

I used this app forever, but sadly it doesn't work on my Galaxy S4. Which is a shame because this is a great app. It got me through my Jazz degree!

Had the paid version, which worked fine. Now it has disappeared and this free version crashes every single time.

This was a most fantastic app. So much so, that I paid for the pro verion. Now it won't open on my new s5 WTF!!!!! PLEASE FIX!!! Not cool that I paid for this and now can't access it! Was a 5 star app, would put zero stars if I could

I bought the pro version and it worked on my S4. I just upgraded this week to an S5 Active and the free version won't even load. The Pro version does not appear available to download and install.

I really liked this app on my Motorola Razr HD for teaching a dance class but now I have a Motorola Razr M and the app shuts down immediately whenever I try to open it. Please fix this bug and I will definitely use it again.

Won't open. The screen goes black for a second then goes back to previous. Too bad really. I Was going to pay for the darn thing, but looks like the support is null. Good luck.
